  1. Oops, my bad for quoting multiple people in my posts. Too hard to fix that via phone lol.
  2. Yes but the Royals didn't have injuries like we did. As for your "mentally unstable" comment, you're right, they should still try their best. But I'm still pretty sure not making a move affected the team morale.
  3. Really? I'm talking about contending teams. Mariners Tigers A's Yankees O's Angels Dodgers Even the f***ing Marlins made a move before the deadline
  4. I agree, our rotation is horrible and should take a big part of the blame for the team's woes.
  5. I agree. People here don't like what Joey said after the deadline because they believe AA when he said he had to give up Stroman or whatever. But there's one thing that these people don't understand. Psychologicaly speaking, the non move impacted the team in a negative way as ALL the other contending teams made a move. That crushed the players' motivation. They should have gotten anyone to bolster the bullpen or rotation; perhaps not a Price but someone like Miller or Street. That could have helped the team's momentum keep going. Well, too little, too late.
  6. Overused joke, but still: World Series, here we come!
  7. Good win boys!! But we'll have to go on a winning streak if we want those playoff hopes to remain alive.
  8. Well, as I recall, I think Valencia started at least 5 games vs RHP. I may be mistaken though but Francisco should start every game against RHP, not including his off day here and there, obviously.
  9. Yes but over the last week, how many games did Francisco start against a RHP starter? It seems like Valencia was starting at his spot VS RHP, and he usually struggles with hitting right handers...
  10. Well, how about Francisco, for starters. I agree, Loup is dependable, but I find it sketchy that he would put him against a bunch of righties in that Houston ballpark. He had other options like Sanchez, at the time. That's just one example though.
  11. Gibbons never calls the hit and run (as opposed to the other teams), chooses doubtful match-ups such as putting Valencia VS RHP all the time, putting Loup VS back to back righties in small ballparks, etc. He's possibly one of the worst managers in the AL, no joke. However, even if you fire him, this team in its current state will still blow. Another starting pitcher is a must if this team wants to be relevant in 2015. And get rid of Dickey or Buerlhe ASAP, preferably Buerlhe.
  12. Loool
  13. Well to be fair, we still had a shot at the deadline so trading Janssen wouldn't have made any sense. And Colby wasn't really worth it on the market, given his mediocre season.
  14. Well that's it. Season is done. What a disappointment.
  15. Why the f*** does this team always give the lead back
  16. Yes it does, and actually I think it's in the best financial health of its existence right now (if I'm not mistaken)
  17. Well I disagree. This is the beauty of the MLB: you can be fans of an NL Team in addition to being a fan of an AL team. I was an Expos fan all my life but the Jays were always my favorite team in the AL. So I was also a Jays fan, even though I followed the Expos more closely, obviously. The two were never rivals since they weren't in the same league/division so there was no conflict of interest
  18. This. My thoughts exactly.
  19. You have more chances to hit the lotto max lottery than seeing the Jays go 27-13 in the next 40 games lol
  20. If you're not in the AL East, maybe so. But being in the AL East is possibly the worst handicap in MLB. Sometimes 135 mill won't be enough in this division, even though it should be.
