    I'd be happy with Zimmerman on our team. But we also need to replace EE/Joey for 2017 and beyond... Upton or Heyward would be nice to have... yeah, I can dream lol, it's Christmas soon

    Oh, come on Spanky. You know what I said makes sense. We were a .500 team at the trade deadline. Obviously we didn't have Stro to help us out, but what ultimately made the biggest difference between July 31st and the end of the season was the presence of Price.

    True, our offense is legit. But I still think we need a Price type of guy to help us get to the top. Price type of guy-Stro-Marco-Dickey-Hutch or some other dude and we got ourselves a heavy weight team.

    I disagree. Your post is bad too: the AL East is not impossible to win without an ace, but it's going to be really, really, REALLY tough. Before we had Price and Tulo we had a .500 record. Price was the missing piece of the puzzle that allowed us to win the division. Obviously Stroman and Tulo played a role but I would argue that Price's impact was greater.

    Stroman is awesome but he's not an ace. He's a solid #2.

    To be honest, we need an ace or otherwise I don't see how we could potentially win the division. Right now I'd say we're an 86 wins team without Price.
