  1. Another mock Yes please
  2. Dream scenario would probably be Green > Mobley > Suggs in terms of fit & need. Talent they are very close. If Raptors were still drafting 7, you’d know Masai & co will be all over Kuminga. I’m not opposed to it if Masai thinks he’s BPA, dude is an animal. Fit is not the greatest but you can work it out later, take best talent always. Mitchell, Barnes, Bouknight, and Moody all seem decent after the top group. This is a pretty good year to draft high.
  3. BA is really really high on Gaby, I think he’ll be top 15-20.

  5. We need premium SP and and elite BP help, not sure Samad Taylor would be enough. Sample size too small. As per Laika, he hit for no power prior to this season and was mostly known as a base burner.
  6. It would take some vodoo magic for this kid to fall on Masai’s lap.
  7. Jalen Green is smexy not gonna lie. Just don’t wanna get my hopes up, those guys don’t fall very far. Masai is always BPA. The thing is, his draft board doesn’t always follow industry consensus. A lot of fans wanted Sabonis in 2016 over Poeltl, they both turned out decent. You can’t do much better than OG at 23rd. Siakam was robbery in broad daylight and nobody knew at the time. I trust Masai more than industry tbh.
  8. Suggs sounds like a bonafide Lowry replacement. Jason Kidd comps.. though every other draft they’re throwing those Jason Kidd comps to any remotely taller PG. I still think we need an alpha ahead of Siakam and Freddy in the pecking order. Kawhi was the 15th pick so you never know. Doncic was clearly a stud at draft time and still somehow slipped.
  9. How big? It better be pretty special if you’re giving up Moreno.
  10. Fully expect Masai to take a surprise pick and nobody would question it. Mobley or Suggs seems like best fit. Bouknight is interesting. Kuminga feels like a Masai pick. It’s been a long time since they’ve drafted this high, and I’ve been a diehard Raptors fan since the Carter era.
  11. He’s ready
  12. The Rutschman and Moreno comparison is silly, they are completely different players and only thing similar about them is their position. I’ve been talking about Gabriel Moreno since 2019. His bat to ball skills have been elite since Lansing and now he’s hitting for power. He has the possibility of moving positions, that bat can play anywhere. His actions behind the plate are very athletic, practically a shortstop behind the plate, hence the Realmuto comps. He’s not a walk and plate discipline guy like many catchers in the MLB with below average hit tools, Moreno has plus-plus hit tool like Bichette. Moreno’s swing is also geared for doing damage, his high BABIP is a result of exit velo and ability to drive the ball to all fields. If he can adapt to third base, Martin can stay at CF and Springer at RF this would be the most ridiculous Blue Jays lineup since WAMCO.
