  1. I think a lot of those calls had Blue Jays on base so it hurt their chances of scoring runs
  2. Gibby is allergic to adjustments. 7/67 hits and somehow Martin is still in the 5th spot. That's batting .104
  3. He had a hot August and it hasn't changed ever since.
  4. Maybe Martin needs to steal Pillar's bat. If Gibs doesn't switch him out, he better find his swing again. They won't have any chance this series if the 4th and 5th spot stays as a black hole
  5. I really thought Josh would slide to home plate after the ball rolled slowly off the wall. Guess the 3rd base coach didn't see it
  6. Rename this thread to: Who should drive Dickey and Thole to the airport?
  7. Tulo has been good, and no reason why he shouldn't at least bat 5th, if not 4th. He has both the Power and Hitting. If both EE and JB walk next year, Tulo is easily the cleanup hitter in this lineup. Martin has power, but he's just been cold since September. Tulo has had way better quality at bats in the post season, especially against pitchers that don't easily walk guys. To be fair, this lost wasn't on Martin, they had ample opportunities to score runs and failed to do so collectively. Travis' double play ball could've been 2 runs. Kluber also hung several pitches that easily could've been homers, with men on base too. The umpire wasn't helping the hitters at all, on both sides. There were Too many strikeouts without even swinging the bat, hoping the Ump would bail them out. s*** happens, get em next game
  8. Can't rely on this Ump to bail them out, they need to get hits
  9. Have a feeling Miller will get hit hard
  10. If Saunders bat wakes up, this lineup is lethal
  11. Estrada is doing good so far. Hope he finds the location on his breaking balls Let's score some runs here boys
  12. They're putting people on base and making Kluber work. It's a good start
  13. Hanging slider to Travis right in the middle
  14. How much trouble would the Tribe be in if Kluber lost in the 1st game? That 4 man rotation looks like very hittable Assuming a 2-3-2 seven game format
  15. The window of this core would close pretty quickly. We're the oldest team in baseball while the redsox and yankees (and their 'unlimited payroll') have a crap ton of young stars emerging. Our farm system is depleted and just starting to rebuild. They need to upgrade the roster if Rogers wants to extend this window and cash in. An elite left handed bat, relievers, and an outfielder is a good start
  16. I Have to agree with this. Rogers is rich as f*** and we need to stop thinking like we're a small market team run by cheap owners. Joey and EE have been grossly underpaid the past few seasons, they deserve to cash out at their age for what they have done for this franchise. Rogers has enough $$ to sign both AND have room left in the payroll. If you let them walk and take the picks, they better use that money and not pocket it. The fans should demand nothing less than competitive baseball. If you're telling me we will use that money to upgrade the roster like adding a Joey Votto then fine
  17. Osuna, Donaldson, Martin, Travis, Benoit, Liriano, The whole bullpen could use some extra time even if just four days while Boston and Cleveland beat each other up even more
  18. We can rebuild his hip, we have the technology
