  1. Pillar about to get another AB ahead of the big four.
  2. 6 more outs. Really don't want to see another s***** loss.
  3. Dickey got screwed, partially by himself throwing a ball away. But there were also Thole's struggles and that ridiculous carpet bounce over Bautista's head. So many runs were directly or indirectly scored because of shenanigans.
  4. In fairness to Dickey's pitching performance, he and Thole booted the ball around the field a lot today. Probably got more yardage than the Panthers in the Superbowl.
  5. Buck and Pat doing damage control. "All the great pitching they've seen." They've led in every game and all the losses are late game shitshows.
  6. I'm all aboard the boo train. This is honestly pathetic.
  7. Every inning is an ordeal with Dickey. Probably the widest gap between hate-to-watch and seems-like-a-swell-guy that I can remember.
  8. Pretty sure a guy like Kratz, who was in the org and never given a legit shot, could have deciphered Dickey's cosmic quandary. The s***** part is how many catchers have passed through the org since the commitment to the Dickey-Thole marriage.
  9. Always a circus with Dickey. So frustrating.
  10. Sandoval earning no favour with his bosses today.
  11. Glad the FO is doing everything legally possible to keep Carrera in the organization. This is more desirable than "hits" and "defence".
  12. Please don't waste a multi-HR day from Bats the way they did for JD's slam.
  13. Without Bautista's trashy slide and Gibby using Leon in a big jam this team could be 4-1. Some really dumb s*** has happened so far, to be fair.
  14. Yeah, he had issues last year at first too. It's tough to accept, but coming out of ST isn't a lightswitch straight into mid-season form. Lots of kinks to work out in April still, even though the games all count.
  15. The point is that Pillar is projected to be below average, didn't provide anything worthy of being a #1 hitter in 2015, and doesn't even have some blazing hot streak going (even going back to ST) to justify his lineup promotion. His performance thus far isn't some eye-opening surprise, and Gibby probably doesn't realize that feeling the need to treat his lead off hitter like a NL pitcher AB is a big, red flag that this setup isn't ideal.
  16. Get Cecil ready, then? If it all happened so fast that Cecil didn't have time to warm, I will have to grudgingly lay off of Gibbons this time. Chavez vs. Holt really isn't an overmatch anyway. Really just wrong time, wrong place for Jesse.
  17. Sucks. Marcus mostly did it himself, though. He really wasn't very good. Watching him battle Shaw in that last AB was agony. Then again, Chavez gave up a laser HR to Brock frickin' Holt, which is pretty bad in itself (even though Holt is pretty pesky).
  18. This should not be underlooked -- John Gibbons gives the most PAs to Kevin Pillar and doesn't trust him to make anything happen with no outs and a man on base. Instead, Troy Tulowitzki and Michael Saunders made outs to end the game with nothing doing on the bases in the ninth, an inning late of a potential rally. It's not about having a crystal ball, but getting better hitters up more frequently is the sounder move that Gibby refuses to make.
  19. Three straight tough pill losses, all for different horrific reasons.
  20. Snapshotting this to Twitter. Get ready to trend, *******.
  21. Glad our f***ing PA leader isn't reliable enough to swing the bat.
  22. Why this? It's not even a terrible idea, but... why bring this up?
