Sucks that Donaldson's s***** final 8-9 days or so of the season could cost him the MVP (by any voters using WAR as the main deciding factor). He dropped like 0.3 WAR in that span while Trout leapfrogged him. I have no clue how the voter's sway though. We're still in a weird transition phase between the old and new guard of the BBWAA.

What a pathetic way to end the season. I doubt it will affect how they do in the postseason, but it still doesn't feel good.
