I'm not upset that Navarro is on the team but he doesn't deserve to be babied by Gibby. He's a very capable back up catcher and that should be his damn role. I feel like Gibby is just giving cookies & brownies to Edwin & Navarro and it's pretty pathetic. Smoak should be starting first base today and his numbers are being overlooked thus far. I mean he's sporting a .385 OBP with his limited play. Smoak/Valencia need to be platooning 1B while Edwin should be focusing on his bat anyway, he's not getting paid for his glove so accept your role as a legitimate DH and start doing damage already. and yea I give Reyes about 4 games.

Jays starters have been far worse. Given up the most walks and most HR in the AL and sport a collective fugly 5.14 ERA. When your starters get you to the 7th it makes the BP work much less and do much better. Too bad ours gets to the 5th, 5.23IP / starter to be exact. Our BP shouldn't have to pitch 4 innings / game.

I didn't say he was just overaggressive, you didn't finish reading that sentence. His plan was obviously to break up the slide, he doesn't change his thought process regardless of the outcome in front of him. It's hard to when you have red bull flowing through your veins. If he meant to hurt him 100% he would not have patted him on the back afterward either. He f***ed up, got plunked for it with a 99mph fastball which was intended to hurt Lawrie and I'm sure it left a nice bruise. After that you both move on with both sides even. Royals fail at that logic.

Lawrie was playing how Lawrie plays, over aggressive not to mention his mind can't change thoughts in split second intervals. Afterward, he knew he'd get plunked that's why he just took his bag like a big boy. Royals came out of this looking like classless school kids.

Been doing yard work and at the stores today. Logged in to see the the Jays pitching is still the same s*** different day. Back to raking I go.

Maybe, he's pitched 3 innings so far in Buffalo, 2H 0ER 1K. Be weird to send down Hynes and have only Loup and Cecil as LHP options though.

What this team needs is Pat Hentgen back managing the pen. I don't know what he did but everyone exceeded expectations with him there.

When your opening day starter gets 7 runs of support, you should win.

Our pitching is garbage. If Cecil can't be trusted for a shut down inning anymore or in high leverage spots, Sanchez needs to be back in the pen asap. This team is in so much trouble if they can't find a way to win after hitting 5 flippin home runs. That's their only weapon.
