He is a #5 pitcher which means if he wins ill take it, if he loses I expect it. You cant be a solid starter when any given start you might only go 2 innings because you cant find the plate. I don't trust him when he takes the mound. For the same reason, I cant say Hutch is a solid starter (though I would like to think he will be). Has to be able to have solid outings at home first. -

It doesn't surprise me that a player from the tropics would be unwilling to sign with the Jays without ever having been to Canada. Those Canadian Igloo stereotypes are even more pronounced than in the US. -

Single scores 1 maybe both without the steal. However, Lind is/was overmatched at the plate. Double steal will throw off the pitcher. Lind needs all the help he can get and frankly the chance of the double steal working are greater than Lind hitting safely.
