  1. Not a fan at all of Lindor with the sacrifice bunt with runners on 1st and 2nd and none out. At all.
  2. Vlad with another HR, opposite field, and 4 games in a row.
  3. Over two months for a bruised finger? Come on now..... He’s soft.
  4. I don’t often listen the the radio broadcasts - who’s doing commentary with Wilner today? Amateurish to say the least.
  5. So, 2019 it is. That frees up time to do things other than watch this horrible Jays product on the field this year.
  6. Vlad not in the lineup for the Fishercats today. Just a day off I’m sure, they’ve played a lot of double headers lately.
  7. There’s already a lot of heat and head scratching now from fans asking why he’s not up yet. Not that it should influence key decisions but we’ve seen the Jays avoid tearing it down because of the fear of losing the fan base. There’s no chance he spends another year in MILB.
  8. Vladdy's 2 for 3 so far today with his 9th HR - hitting .429! They should just let him play out the season in AA and see if he can top .400........ Bichette also finally having a good day at the plate after scuffling all month - 2 for 3 with his 2nd HR.
  9. Ahem, 4 for 4 now after hitting a 3 run HR. .423 Bring him up already, Jesus.
  10. With his 7th home run, at that. Honestly the longer this continues with him at AA it almost becomes torturous that we potentially won't see Vlad arrive for another year. Oh, and Romano just put up 6 hitless innings.
  11. 3 for 3 and now hitting a mildly impressive .414 on the year. CALL HIM UP.
  12. There’s gotta be some promotions come June, right? I know it’s beating a dead horse at this point but are they really going to have Vlad destroy the minor leagues for another year before calling him up?
  13. Historic for the Leafs, most points in club history. Semantics. It has been a horrible stretch for Toronto sports, not sure how that can even be debated.
  14. Jesus, in the last two weeks the Leafs got bounced in the first round after a historic season, the Raptors get absolutely embarrassed as the first seed and now the Jays are dealing with a serious domestic abuse issue. My emotional attachment to Toronto sports is at an all time low.
  15. Vladdy with his second HR of the game, a 2 run shot! Call him up!!
  16. Man, SRF has been lights out so far this year. He’s going to be a contributor soon.
  17. Vlad is already 2 for 2 in the second game, now hitting .407. He’s going to hit his way onto the Jays before September.
  18. Wow, SRF is really putting it together so far this year. Another great start today, lots of K’s lately. He’ll be up this year if he keeps this going.
  19. SRF with a great start so far tonight - 5ip with 2 hits and 8Ks. We might have a real pitching prospect knocking on the door sooner rather than later.
  20. What convergence of circumstances see Vladdy with the Jays prior to September? Can he simply hit his way on to the roster and force the hand of the FO?
  21. The service time clock is the main reason why I’m not sure we’ll see either Vladdy or Bo until 2019, other than as September call ups. Those guys would have to destroy the competition in AA and the Jays would have to have a reasonable shot at the playoffs to force Shapiro. Instant influx of offence. I hope the Jays are looking to sign both to long term deals. Take a risk like the Rays did with Longoria way back when.
  22. There's absolutely no truth to this "rumour". This goes against the front office MO, thankfully - the Jays have shown willingness to absorb bad contracts from other teams to stock the farm with talent. Why would they ever consider giving away a building block to save $? Nothing to see here......
  23. He strikes out a ton and gets on base well below league average. That’s not a “pretty damn good player”. Yet. He’s still young though.
  24. I'd be wary of expecting a repeat season like last from Smoak. It's much more likely that he'll revert to career norms than last year being the new norm.
