I know what you are saying too. If the draft rules were 5 years ago I don't think it matters as much but when you are only allowed to spend a certain amount of money on players the difference of 5 draft slots actually makes a difference.

Does Gose have more value with the defence and baserunning? My guess is they are pretty similar.

5 spots in the draft and the extra money included into that as well as the intl money is worth more than 2 wins that won't be remembered.

Its probably better if the jays lose. 4 teams with right around the same record so better to get the best draft pick and biggest bonus pool.

I would think so. Not sure what to make of the start. Hasn't looked bad but hasn't really looked good. Command seems to be an issue and he hasn't been able to get guys to chase.

He was terrible catching Sanchez when he saw action earlier. I guess we will see from this game. Side note- looks like there might be 5000 people there.
