Just tired of people thinking he's so good when he constantly gets exposed on the defensive end of the floor. I want the guy to succeed because I think the Raptors need him to develop if they want to be a championship contender but he's been pretty bad defensively over the course of the season.

Net rating is a decent stat used in the right context but is useless looking at in small samples. I think it can be a decent tool when used to compare players on the same team. Im not saying Amir is better than JV solely because his Net RTG is better. But when a guy like Amir consistently ranks in the top on his team and then you see how good he is as a defender then he is a very good player for this team.

Lol im talking in general. Do I think JV should of got more playing time? Yes I do, I would of stuck him out in the 2nd half to see if he would of created something. But in general people talk about him as though he is some god. I think the biggest issue is he is too heavy. He needs to drop 10 pounds and become more quick as he seems slow out there.

GS proved they were simply the better team tonight. Raps had a few good runs but seemed like as soon as they got momentum GS would knock down back to back 3s.

Counter is though what you gain on offence is also lost on defense. So if JV isn't producing on offence he is a waste. Also he clogs up the paint for guys that like to drive like Lowry/GV.

Well Amir isn't a guy you want to throw it to in the post. Hes great at setting screens and on the glass on the offensive end getting putbacks/dump it to for easy baskets off drives.

4/6 if you include the FTs with 2 TO and his defence wasn't good. Amir has been much much better.

Disagree completely. Amir is so underrated its ridiculous. He's great as a help defender and is really efficient on offence.

Oh sorry didn't see that. Amir has been the Raps second best player so far and JV has struggled imo.

Is it just me or does Lou seem to really struggle against the good teams and then pads the numbers against the crap teams? Obviously every player is going to do this to a degree but it seems like in Lou's case it is to the extreme.
