  1. His arm is probably a 70 so if he can clean up his routes a bit he'll be a plus in LF. Even already he looks a hell of a lot better in LF than he did in RF.
  2. I think Granderson should only be a DH unless one of Pillar, Teoscar or Grichuk get the day off. Pearce DHs against LH so leaves Morales and Granderson vs RHP/PH.
  3. Bauers has better bat speed and swing so projects to be better against MLB pitching.
  4. If he has a 12 WAR season there is no way he doesn't get MVP playoffs or not.
  5. Have Martin and Jansen split 60-40. If you can get value for Martin by trading him then do it otherwise just keep him around.
  6. Teoscar takes Madson deep on 97MPH. "Only hits bad pitching"
  7. If the Astros pull far away enough from the Mariners then it shouldn't be too difficult for the Ms. AL East may be closer but the 2 wildcard winners are going to be so far ahead of everyone else come September.
  8. Yeah I remember people didn't know who Mitch Haniger was. Once you realized he changed his swing the trade looked pretty for Seattle.
  9. This is going to sound terrible, but its probably better if the Jays do have one of the ones taking PEDs because that means they sign him for less and get more money for other kids.
  10. I've always speculated its because a lot of players live in the area so there are more distractions when they are home for the first time in a while. Just a guess though.
  11. Perhaps the Jays rather go in a different direction. Its possible Gibby doesn't even want to be around for a rebuild/retool.
  12. Man remember when some people on here were laughing at the Mariners for the Walker, Marte-Segura, Haniger trade. What a steal for Seattle.
  13. If the Jays fire Gibbons/they part ways I'd love to give Mark Derosa an opportunity to be the next manager.
  14. I don't understand why a team would pay more for trading for a player in the division when its a rental. If anything the Yankees wouldn't want to trade in the division because the Jays will have control of those players for another 6+ years.
  15. Wasn't comparing their talents just the situation of where you already have one of your top prospects having success at SS and a better defender comes along afterwards.
  16. The question is what do you do if you put Bo at SS next year and he's average there and then Smith comes up a year later and is the better defensive SS. Kind of what happened with Correa and Bregman.
  17. Theres probably lots of Americans who are also taking PEDs. The drug makers are way ahead of the system so lots of people never get a positive test. MLB needs to do a better job in Latin America, they already screwed up with installing a hard cap spending limit.
  18. Looked pretty good at 2nd base when he was here. And has the 2nd fastest Sprint Speed on the team. I agree he needs to cut down on the strikeouts but facing junkballers at AAA isn't necessarily better for his development.
  19. Anyone have a link to the spreadsheet? Got a new computer so lost my autosaved pages.
  20. Tons of players work hard and never make it. Takes a lot more than hard work.
  21. He can develop at the majors too.. He's almost 25 years old.
  22. He's worth a max deal. They can probably trade him right now and get value back, he was ALL-NBA after all. I agree that he isn't a number 1 option on a contender but he's still worth the contract. The Ibaka contract on the other hand...
  23. It won't stop because there's so much incentive for these players to get large bonuses and for their trainers. Now that there are spending caps there is less money to go around.
