    Yeah Quintana is one of the safest pitchers you can go with, there is upside if he ever leaves Chicago too. Even if Stro remains a mid 7 K/9 guy he walks less than 2/9 with close to a 60% GB rate. With Donaldson, Tulo, Martin and Pillar on defense for the next couple of years he has a good shot to beat his ERA projection I think.

    I think I'd take Stro first. Both have similar K and walk numbers but Stroman has the much better defense behind him and Win totals.

    As a Colts fan I'm one of Mannings biggest supporters but I see this as a really tough matchup for him much like the SB with Seattle. For as good as the Broncos have been Mannings has been pretty bad this year. I hope he wins just so he can retire on top but he's going to be in tough. Cam Newton vs the Broncos D will be very interesting to watch.

    Yeah Gray has some upside too but Stroman's K numbers are much superior. I'm not saying Gray is bad or anything but I just think Stroman is the much better fantasy pitcher.

    I think Stroman is much more preferable. Ridiculous GB numbers with one of the best infield defenses behind him in a park that makes grounders slow. Not to mention Stroman has a ton of upside we haven't seen in the K numbers.

    Got sick yesterday and went to bed at 8pm. This was a really tough pick and I seriously debated going with 4 different players. In the end I decided to go with Jonathan Lucroy. A potential trade scares me a bit but I figure if he does get traded he probably goes to Texas or Arizona which are good hitter parks as well.

    Yeah but what are the chances he gets moved, 1% if that? 4 years of AT&T is pretty great value especially since pitching is so much present value to begin with.

    Yeah he certainly was by far the best talent on the board. I can understand why he fell like he did because of the injury concern. Interesting you'd take him over Bumgarner though?

    This was a tough one. Going to go with Strasburg. I feel like this could come back to haunt me with there being a couple of safer picks but the upside is huge if he stays healthy so I'm going to pull the trigger. So far I have Rizzo Kluber Strasburg

    Yeah especially since by the time I got to the front they had already been signing for over an hour. Smoak comes off as extremely dumb, and always has this confused look on his face. People were going crazy for them though. They actually cleared out the entire West 49 store with security out front so some of them could look around at some stuff.

    Pillar, Estrada, Goins and Smoak. Got Pillar jersey and Estrada jersey signed. Funny, when I got up there Pillar was like "Ah I see you found the clearance rack, no Goins jersey though? Guess they sold out of the superstar jerseys and you had to settle for mine." Meanwhile, Goins is shaking his head like screw off buddy. Estrada seemed like a really chill dude too.
