    Alright lets see the evidence. The only time a hitter will get more fastballs is if there is a speedy runner on base, that happened to Votto when Hamilton was on 1st.

    Doesn't matter who it is a pitcher is going to execute a gameplan based on that particular hitter not where he's hitting in the lineup.

    Can we stop with this ******** about getting more fastballs because of the hitter hitting behind you. Kevin Pillar actually saw less fastballs leading off in front of Donaldson.

    No thanks. Washington is way worse than Gibbons. Gibby isn't a great manager but he's still better than a lot of managers in MLB. No matter who the manager was here people would find a way to complain about his moves, its just the nature of baseball with having to make so many decisions.

    Isn't he bad from the right side though. I remember as a prospect he had a much better swing LH.

    I think if Gibby were to be fired Bud Black would be hired as manager.

    Would be nice to have an outfielder that hits RH. That way you could DH Bautista or Saunders vs a LHP and have Edwin play 1st.

    Shapiro isn't managing the last 3 spots on the 25 man roster, thats Atkins. Shapiro is involved in the big picture stuff and trades etc..

    Has to be a reason for it. But it does speak about Atkin's terrible roster management thus far into the season. He seems like a really smart guy and is a plus to have in the FO but he's struggled as GM so far. His work with the media has been pretty bad IMO too which is a GM's responsibility.

    Girado has already been sent down for when Hutch came up. Makes zero sense for Hutch to still be here unless he's making another start.

    Well Gomez did have an injury/medical issue with the Mets veto of the trade, so maybe that can help explain the struggles. His numbers are so bad though that I'm not optimistic about him turning it around.

    I'm saying you can't break up 1 pill throw it into a guys coffee and expect him to fail a drug test. The amount it would take to register on a test is more than that. You realize players get tested in the offseason as well...

    Thats not how it works lol. You can't just slip a PED in a drink. The amount it would take for it to register in a test is more than you could put into someones food or drink without them noticing.

    I remember in Spring Gibby really liked Ceciliani and said he would have made the team had he not had options. To me that sounds like the FO took Carrera because of the options.

    They have a 3 man bench. The Ryan Tepera/Arnold Leon situation was a disaster and even now Girado is probably better than Venditte. That's Ross Atkin's responsiblilty.
