  1. Expected to lose this game but it sure hasn't been encouraging lol
  2. Sale's velo seems to be down. Seen a lot of 90s and even an 89.
  3. Lol can only imagine how bad Lebron were to torch the Raptors if they even got that far.
  4. JV seems to miss so many gimmes at the rim
  5. Really? I think he looked like he would have been safe with the hand before Lawrie tagged him. The throw beat him for sure but Lawrie tagged his leg.
  6. Bautista did have a point. Would have been safe if Lawrie didn't do that. Next time go in cleats up.
  7. Yeah thats definitely helpful for double plays (especially as a 2nd baseman) but he still isn't as good a SS as Tulo.
  8. Ross or DD can't guard George. Put Powell on him
  9. Great response by the Raps bench+ DD
  10. Karl looked really bad in Sacremento so I don't even want him near the team. He was worse than Casey. I think the NCAA is exactly where you don't want to go. Its a different game down there and most coaches can't transition to the NBA. Almost all fail outside of Brad Stevens. Best place is probably an assistant NBA coach.
  11. Gross. Pacers are playing really well but the Raps have shot themselves in the foot. Bad closeouts, missing easy shots etc..
  12. Karl is not a good coach and we really don't know how good Walton is. GS made Alvin Gentry look good and he's been one of the worst HC in New Orleans. JVG would be interesting.
  13. Derozan is such a terrible defender.
  14. JV with a bad start.
  15. I'll give you that he he has a bit more range but Goins arm strength isn't close to Tulo's lol. Neither is his glove or accuracy.
  16. Sure sounded like Masai was going to retain him as HC even if they lost Round 1. What HC are even out there that would for sure be an upgrade? If Casey were to leave I'd like to see Nick Nurse get a shot but we still have no idea how good he would be.
  17. Well that thinking was stupid. Tulo is better defensively than Goins and even though he is struggling with the bat is still so much better. Like I said in the offseason the downgrade of Tulo to Goins is more than any pitching upgrade you were going to get. I'd like to see these defeding colabello posts you speak of. I probably said something along he doesn't have much value around the league even with his career year last year which is hardly defending him.
  18. Seems pointless to be offering Edwin a 2 year deal and Bautista 3/60. To be honest I'm not even sure I want to resign Edwin for even 2 years if its in the 20 million range. His contact rate keeps declining and so far this year its been pretty bad. As a DH if the bat is merely above average in the wRC+115 range he doesn't have much value. Bautista still looks elite on the other hand even if the defense is bad. I think I'd give Bautista 4/80 over Edwin at 2/40.
  19. Bringing in Venditte was his worst move. He's been horrible with the Jays so far and hasn't shown that he should be anything more than a mop up guy.
  20. Seems some people are actually saying his framing has declined. Even with the reduced framing the overall contract doesn't seem bad.
  21. I remember people on the board last year wondering if he would be better at SS for the Jays long term than Tulo lol. Thinking he was a 2 Win player at SS.
  22. Framing stabilizes pretty quickly. Last year he had to catch Dickey which dragged down his numbers. He's tied for 6th CSAA at 0.13, not sure where you got 42nd from. I believe BP accounts for umpires which StatCorner doesn't.
