    Funny thing with seeing Bautista there yesterday is that he's a huge Heat fan. Wonder if he'll wear a Heat hat at the game if he goes lol

    SN actually has quite a few good reporters/personalities. I think Zwelding is one of the best for his in-depth articles and BNS is pretty good too. Davidi, Brunt, Sidall, Shulman and Keri are all really good at what they do IMO. Even Campbell and Zaun are decent for their roles in the broadcast.

    Maybe talent was the wrong word but the Raptors are a better team. They had 8 more wins in the regular season after all. Going to come down to Lowry though.

    Home Court is worth a lot in the NBA. Also Raps are a better team talent wise.

    Big decline the last 3 years on his contact rate though. Whiff rate at 12% this year and the bat speed looks slower. It looks like he's opened his stance a bit to try and be able to hit the inside fastball that he's struggled against so hopefully the adjustment can help.

    Jays need a 1st baseman. Smoak has been junk at the plate and in the field.

    You shouldn't be using FIP and WAR to evaluate Dickey though thats part of why you think he's been bad. He's always had a BABIP in the .260 range with the Jays outside this year.

    Tulo has a 13.6% BB rate. 27.2% K rate and a .184 ISO after today. He's got a .182 BABIP which is completely unsustainable especially when you consider he's only hit 1 popup all year. With his defense thats like a 4 Win player with an average BABIP over the course of the season. I don't get all this hate for Tulo. I mean Edwin has been worse at the plate this year and doesn't provide any defensive value.

    Stroman's velo seemed to be up a tick today. Per Brooks his 4seam was 93.7 and 2 seam 93.1 up over 1MPH on his season average. Nice to see he ditched the changeup pretty much and threw a ton more cutters and 4 seam instead of all sinkers. The Rays swing and miss a ton so its tough to read how much of the strikeouts just came from that and how much was actually Stroman but regardless its really encouraging to see the results today.

    Great guy terrible coach. We all rag on Casey but he was a lot better than Vogel was this series.

    Most cringe worthy thing I heard on SN just now. Sid Sixeiro said Casey was the best coach in the league this year pretty much. Also apparently will get a 3 year extension after the playoffs are done.

    Yeah JV gets some bad calls, he must say something to the refs to piss them off because its weird. Refs gave them a ton of calls this game. The George charge call could have easily been an AND1
