    Jays didn't play the wildcard game last year? Anything can happen in 1 game obviously, doubting a team based on how they have played won't have much to do with who wins though.

    Looks like Martin could be fine on defense but I don't know how he could swing the bat if the knee injury is serious.

    Its clear Shapiro is going to do whats best for the franchise moving forward regardless of team performance. To wish the team does bad so its easier to justify it to fans is just dumb. If the Jays win the world series its not like Shapiro is going to hire every employee back anyways. He's smart and will do what he thinks is best.

    Stroman really pitched well. Hung one pitch to Castro but besides that he was amazing. Its a shame the bats have done nothing.

    Can't win every f***ing game. Go check the Cubs schedule.. They lost 5 in a row this year. Hell the Jays WS team had a losing streak over 5 games in September.

    Slightly above average I think. He's got good range, just seems to have lots of balls bounce off his glove.

    Travis has never had a good glove but its really been costing them lately.

    Pillar and Travis are a lot more similar hitters than you would think. Both walk very little Travis hits for more power and strikes out a little more. Agree completely with Cy

    Travis has a .256 OBP in the last 14 days while Saunders is at .393 if you want to go with the "who's hot argument'. Sure Travis is a little bit faster but like you said you want someone who is going to get on base in front of the middle of the lineup and Travis has a below average OBP. If anything he should hit lower in the lineup because he hits for a higher average.

    Rather see Bautista leadoff and Saunders in the middle of the lineup with Travis towards the bottom but whatever.

    Interesting that Travis and Pillar chase at almost the exact same rate yet their reputations are so vastly different on this board for chasing pitches.

    You could probably sell half the tickets and go to the other games for close to little money at all. Face value for the playoff games is honestly pretty damn close to the same for the weekend games in the regular season.
