    Even if someone is suspended it shouldn't matter much. Can just appeal so they will be in this upcoming series. My guess is guys only get fined.

    It sounds bad but it matters because the other 2 families could sue whoever was driving the boat if he was found to be driving recklessly.

    In Passan's article it said he wouldn't allow Fernandez to drive the boat because he thought it was too dangerous. It seems weird that they were going full speed with such bad conditions though. Whoever was driving the boat was negligent obviously.

    I know its a veteren club but perhaps Gibby should maybe tell the team to stay focuses thinking big picture. So stupid that this all could have been avoided. Now potentially 2 big pieces of the club are out for the season.

    Exactly it wasn't a ball to the back or anything. He leaned into one that hit his elbow pad. Martin might have told him to do it though you never know.

    Acooring to Passan's article his friend was urging them not to go out on the boat repeatedly because he thought something bad would happen. f*** that makes it so much more sad.

    With the Grili and Osuna have been throwling lately this is a pretty bad injury. Although maybe this finally makes Gibby use Cecil for a full inning and not just a f***ing batter here and there.

    My guess is they give him the night off tonight and maybe try to rest him vs Boston.

    I don't think he's a HOF. There is no way of telling if he could have kept it up for a sustained period of time. He already had TJS once and his mechanics weren't the greatest. He could have been a Strasburg who I think we could say was just as talented at that age but hasn't been able to keep it up. They should get rid of the 10 year rule though

    What a weird day for sports. Extremely sad news about Jose and the CFL player who died as well as the passing of golf legend Arnold Palmer, yet Vin Scully had such a Hollywood Ending.

    Wasn't bragging or anything just saying *if* that situation were to happen I would be able to afford to pay that much for a seat. I think a more fun question would be if you could go back in time how much would you pay to be at the dome for ALDS game 5 last year.

    If it were Jays vs Cubs I would likely spend 25% higher than I would if it wasn't. I also have playoff tickets so if the Jays made it that far I likely would have made enough money on my other tickets to justify paying 2 or 3K to see that game.

    If its vs Baltimore I think they might not start him. He's really struggled vs them in his career compared to other teams. If its Detroit I think that'd be a good matchup with all of the RH bats. I'd also be fine with Sanchez coming in out of the pen in the game instead.

    I'll be honest I don't want Sanchez starting in that wildcard game if he has another so so outing vs Baltimore. He hasn't been that good in the 2nd half and I feel like Stroman, Estrada and Happ are all better choices.

    Players for the most part are pretty terrible when it comes to managing a game so they should be directed on what to do.
