    I don't think we will. It works in NHL/NBA because the best teams always win but MLB obviously is a lot different in that an average team can get lucky and win for a couple of weeks.

    Everything we've seen about Shapiro has suggested he will do anything if he thinks it makes the franchise better. He fired the scouting coordintor and the Pres. of Business Operations after success in the past. If you operate your franchise based on PR you shouldn't be running a franchise.

    The last 3 years Cecil has a strikeout rate higher than 30% and an FIP and xFIP of under 3 vs RHB. Considering the aleternative was bringing in Osuna early (again) it was fine for him to face Napoli. Letting Stroman face the 3rd time order was stupid though.

    Shapiro is smart enough that if he replaced Gibbons it would be for an upgrade. He's not going to replace him with someone who he thinks would do a terrible job. Bud Black I think would be a fantastic choice and an upgrade over Gibbons. I think Shapiro and Atkins want it to work with Gibbons and are trying to get him to be more progressive. But at the end of the day if they feel like he is still choosing his gut over the numbers they will replace him with someone who shares their same mindset.

    Like Jose leading off. Don't like Goins in the lineup. Barney is the better hitter and defender IMO.

    "sucks" = 2 bad games. He was amazing in the ALDS/Wildcard.

    Can get 100 Level seats for under face and plenty on Kijiji are going for less. Face for 500 Level is $123 too, can't forget ticketmaster fees!

    Stroman doesn't give up many baserunners.. He barely walks anyone.

    He probably pitches 100 innings though. And when you have Kluber, Carrasco and Salazar already there's no point in taking a chance on screwing up Miller.

    Rogers CEO is stepping down and Joe Natale is replacing him. Hopefully this results in the Blue Jays getting more money to spend.

    More valuable as a reliever the way Cleveland uses him.

    Ballpark looks really nice. It does remind me of Buffalo though.

    He probably thinks by speaking out about it, that it will give them a few calls the next couple games which might happen so I wouldn't say it doesn't accomplish anything.

    The 2 Umps were notorious for favouring the home team the first 2 games. There has been some terrible umping this postseason and MLB should be ashamed. Watching the Dodgers game and Bryant got a strike called that was like 8 inches inside. Either get a robot strike zone or teach umpires not to get fooled by framing.
