I can't stand him, he's a whiny cocky little self indulgent diva. The Jays should definitely not extend him, smallish pitchers don't exactly have a good track record for maintaining velocity as they hit their 30s. Hope for a nice start to the season then flip him at the deadline. -

I clearly didn't phrase that properly, it was in reference to Lowry, Ibaka, Gasol at next years deadline, not Leonard. It's pretty much a foregone conclusion he will attempt to rebuild when Leonard leaves. This is why he has put the roster in the position it is with all the expiring contracts.

Rebuild in the sense that Lowry Ibaka and Gasol will more than likely be moved for assets either in the off season or at next years deadline when Kawhi leaves. Returns + Fred, Norm, OG, and Siakim as a core probably isn't playoff bound. Dont fool yourself, a rebuild is coming, but I have faith Masai will acquire more young exciting talent.

I still dont see the 76ers making it out of the 2nd round. Conference finals will be some form of Buck/Celtics/Raptors.

Aside from Vlad making his surefire debut mid april, who else do you expect to debut this year? Maybe Bichette if he absolutely tears it up, but more likely is held down until April 2020. Biggio might be a mid season call up. Some BP arms and SP filler? Merryweather/Thornton maybe Zuech? -

Giving Tulo the option to sign elsewhere early in the off season would seem like the motivation for both sides to come to a buyout agreement. So by agent Paul Cohen's logic, is Tulo not a good guy now because he didnt help facilitate a buyout? At the very least Atkins should have been able to secure the buyout clause monies for the last option year of the contract, but instead opted to be a "nice guy". This has a faint odor of incompetence....

Unlikely they add any significant BP pieces. More likely Shatkins throws out a bunch of the rule 5 eligible guys on the 40 man to see what they have. Some combination of Waguespack, Perez, Paulino, Murphy, Thornton, Drake, Merryweather, and Diaz I would expect will see time in the BP at various points this season.
