  1. no doubt it would be great and I do think he will be a solid major league contributer, I just dont see him as a guy that will have a long career.
  2. "There are some things that I'm just going to have to get over," he says. "I can't be by myself all the time. I can't live the total minimalist life. I guess I'm going to have to figure out where and when to give in. How much is necessary? How much feels right?" I respect this kid's choice to enjoy life the way he see's fit, it's a great way to live. But with that said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he quits in 5-10 years to continue the pursuit of this minimalistic lifestyle.
  3. Comon now, everyone knows that will not happen
  4. Dennis Boucher is my pick, guy put up a .3 WAR with 5.69 FIP in 35 innings....not an easy feat. Fun question: Which one of you old bastards can tell me, without looking it up, who was involved in the trade with Cleveland that dumped this would be future HOF had he remained in the dome?
  5. Hes a bum, but on a minor league deal why not
  6. hard for people not to swear at you when you work at a sex hot line deadpool.
  7. dont worry, i got accused of being said Dogg guy as well, seems to be the norm around here.....I wouldnt doubt if people have me on ignore still from the first time I posted in a thread and was accused of this.
  8. You are assuming they knew which direction they were going with him before the year started, I would disagree considering he put up a 4.6WAR in 2013. You are also assuming that the Jays didnt try and shop him at the deadline for a need, which we will never know if they did or didn't. (Although I would bet AA was in talks with a few teams regarding Colby)
  9. this will happen if he hits .240
  10. Now re-name the thread to Rotation Prediction
  11. My preditction Dickey 14-11 3.77 ERA Hutch 17-9 3.23 ERA 240K Stroman 20-8 3.02 ERA 5th in AL CY Young voting Buehrle 10-15 4.55 ERA Norris 7-4 3.89 ERA TJS after 18 starts Sanchez 8-9 4.86 ERA 125IP 75BB
  12. haha, k-town in great, so is waterloo....cambridge is just a smear on the tri-city area
  13. you should move out of that s***-hole cambridge......its hard not to pick apart the trash that lives there.....
  14. cubans want to live the "American" dream, not the "Canadian" dream....just ask ang
  15. Not throwing your superiors under the bus is not about keeping a "good boy" image, its called common sense.
  16. nothing wrong with a lil blow in moderation....just ask spanky!
  17. McCown is great radio personality, but he has no inside info ever, he just speculates which is what he is paid to do
  18. RA doesnt want anyone near his balls......bad experiences for him
  19. Rogers bought Skydome for 25 Million
  20. for his career he has put up a wRC+ of 72 and 63 in medium/high leverage situations respectively. Hes a big fat strong guy who when squares up to a fastball can crush it. His bat speed is his biggest asset by far but the fact that he can't recognize a pitch to save his life and has a uber negative impact positionally makes him a piece of s*** player. He's terrible, and anyone who argues differently is lacking in baseball assessment skills.
  21. not to mention the fact that all of his HR's were in low leverage situations, he put up a wRC+ of 8 in high leverage situations, which just indicates further that he can't hit for s***, especially when it matters
  22. he put a wRC+ of 53 with a K rate of 32.8%, how you could spin that any way other than terrible is nuts
