  1. It still is. It'll take me a while to get over that burn.
  2. I want the Jays to start losing a lot. Seriously. I don't want them to tease me with a winning streak like they did in 2013 and 2014. This team is so flawed, it's sad.
  3. Gibbons puts Tepera in a one run game when Hendriks has been the 2nd best reliever on the team this season. Nice one, Sling Blade.
  4. Nice. Now get Dickey's old ass out of the game. Hendriks, Osuna, and Cecil to close it. Let's do this.
  5. What do you guys expect when the manager keeps putting a DH in the outfield? This isn't a video game. It's going to cost the team runs.
  6. The White Sox are gifting the Jays a winning streak, and in true Toronto fashion, the Jays are finding a way to blow it.
  7. Other than Hutchison and Buehrle, does any pitching actually project to improve as the season goes on? Dickey can't fool batters anymore, Estrada is a swing man/#5 starter, and Sanchez is Drabek with groundballs.
  8. I hope he's not fired. The Jays will need a GM/president in six months, and Rogers is in charge of the hiring process.
  9. It's only encouraging if you figure they'll correct to their normal talent level soon. With this rotation, I'm not sure that's possible, though great start from Hutchster.
  10. jaysfan2014 predicting the impending doom of the Rays has now made them the favorites to run away with the division.
  11. Harry and Lloyd (or Alex and Gibby, whichever you prefer) are on the hot seat. They'll ride these guys for as long as they can. That's why both should have either been fired or extended prior to the season.
  12. Bautista DH'ing the past month was terrible. yes, he hit well, but he f***ed the defense up and isn't going to get healthier by continuing to play through injury.
  13. He's probably making a ton of money. I wouldn't want to leave or find someone to replace me if I were him, either. If the Jays remain status quo after a season like this, they deserve everything they get.
  14. I doubt he'll even be allowed to trade them, which is a good thing. I mean, he did make some good trades in the off-season, so he probably wouldn't get ripped off if he traded them, but still would rather have the new GM be the one who handles that.
  15. Sanchez is basically Kyle Drabek with better GB rates right now. Don't let the ERA mask the numbers. He could improve over time, but he still has a ways to go.
  16. Carrasco credits Cash for his turnaround, and it's been reported that Cash was behind Cleveland acquiring Gomes. Or were you laughing because you read one of your own posts, and quoted mine by accident?
  17. Sanchez good through 6. Now time for him to come out for the 7th, walk two batters, and get pulled.
  18. Doubront seems like the next call-up to me, if he's healthy. Norris' command looks off.
  19. Look what Kevin Cash is doing with the Rays. Cash was the one who fixed Carrasco in Cleveland, and suggested the Indians get Gomes from the Jays. That team that some predicted to fail will probably win the division with worse injuries than the Jays. No wonder this franchise sucks. We have people willing to look stupid to defend John f'n Gibbons, when other teams hire managers that make players better.
  20. Well he almost traded for Peavy the same way he could have traded for Ervin, so he was at least thinking about doing something like that. Cant change the past but still don't blame Rogers for that off-season. Like I said, JP was given money when he wasn't ready to spend it and he at least overpaid for free agents. That's more sensible. As far as Kenny Williams, if he is prez, he likely won't be GM. Depends on who he hires. My money is still on Doug Melvin. Because Canada.
  21. I literally unfollowed him after that Tweet. I hope it was the fake Wilner too. No one should be paid to follow baseball and write s*** like that.
