A back up catcher at DH in place of a hot offensive player (Smoak). A LOOGY being used for a full inning. Tepera being called in to face Machado in a high pressure spot. Par for the course. It sickens me when people here make sarcastic comments when the Jays win by 10 runs, somehow absolving Gibbons of any incompetence, but we have a shitload of close games that show he has no business managing when the games on the line.

Don't give me the run differential ******** after today. Gibbons puts a s***** back-up catcher at DH and then uses Loup for an inning when he has Hendriks collecting splinters in his ass in the pen. This one is on the hick, as are many of the one run losses this year.

Osuna just needed this to be a close game. He doesn't give a s*** in 5 run games. Hence his performance last night.

I doubt it. If they couldn't trade him in the off-season coming off a "solid" season offensively, then nothing will change if he gets a few hits as a DH. This is Gibbons valuing a s***** player too much.

Estrada in the rotation, Sanchez in the pen, Castro/Osuna in the minors, Delabar/someone else in the pen, and Navarro on another team. He got all of those wrong (though Osuna has panned out so I'll go easy on him there even though it's still stupid long-term).

Lol, considering the amount of time I spend bashing Navarro (and Gibbons), clearly it was sarcasm.

I'm not an AA fan, but he was absolute money in the off-season. Every value move he made was sensible and in most cases a huge upgrade. He went derpy after Stroman got hurt but prior to that, he was awesome.
