  1. Ubaldo just got ejected for hitting Pablo Sandoval.
  2. If we dominate mediocre/bad pitchers, I'll be interested to see what they do against Boston, which is full of them (except for Porcello, but the jury's still out on him.) Comparing rotations, Tampa is the most dangerous. I mean, we were able to crush the O's and Yankees.. something in that Rays system really helps them develop great pitching.
  3. Look people, I know we should be beating the Rays.. but this team has a very strong rotation, that will be getting stronger with Smyly, Cobb and Moore returning. So far, only Erasmo Ramirez is the weak link and is expected to be DFAd soon. All the Rays need is consistent offense, possibly from the emergence of guys like Souza.. unfortunately, no fans will show up no matter what, unless it's Yankees/Red Sox.
  4. And that's game. Bring on the Braves.. and BTW, the Braves are a bit of a tough call.
  5. Martin walks. Now how about another so we can get the tying run to the plate?
  6. Braves next up.. don't be fooled by their record. The're not a good team.. our defense is a lot better than the Mets and Marlins is, who they just played.
  7. With that pitching, they're going to be in it most of the season.. and will likely give us, the O's, and the Red Sox a run for their money, while the Yanks languish in last place all year (they're already there!)
  8. The Kris Bryant era begins in Chicago tomorrow:
  9. Hopefully the umpires start tossing Rays pitchers if they hit another guy.. this is getting out of hand. Hopefully they've issued warnings to both teams by now...
  10. Devon Travis does it again! What a beautiful double play!
  11. Rays sign JP Arencibia to a minors deal. Considering our luck, JP will likely be starting in Tampa within a month when they realize Rivera and Wilson can't hit..
  12. Somewhere around there I guess.. I also have tickets for that game as well.
  13. Yes, I remember.. he had 10 HRs in April 2006(9 of them in the first 13 games!). That would be his peak.. he would be out of the majors the following year, and never reached those levels again due to his high strikeout rate.
  14. Looks like it. One question I have--where the heck is Marco Estrada? Haven't seen him since Baltimore.
  15. Well, that's going to hurt Redmond's chances of staying on the roster. Souza does it again!
  16. Say, whatever happened to Marco Estrada? We haven't seen him in a long time.. wonder if the Jays are planning to cut him as soon as Saunders comes back.
  17. It's 12-3. It makes no sense to use the entire pen in a blowout game.
