    Reason EE isn't in the lineup is due to a maintenance day. Same with Bautista DHing. And I expect Reyes to get a DH day soon when Travis returns this weekend.

    The Red Sox front office needs to be completely gutted. Cherington and his assistants Hazen and O'Hollaran need to go, and take Farrell with them. They need a new front office that focuses on baseball and player development, and doesn't make stupid signings (HanRam, Sandoval, A-Gone, Crawford, etc.) or makes bad trades (that Reddick deal, Miley, Porcello..) Unfortunately, the ownership seems committed with Cherington and Farrell, so things aren't going to get better anytime soon. And I still think ownership is going to do a Hamels trade because they think they'll contend in 2016.. what the Red Sox need right now is a major rebuild both in the front office and on the roster.

    Well, it means the Jays will be a game ahead of the O's if they beat Colon and the Mets. Now let's hope the Fish beat the Yankees and the Dodgers clobber the Rangers(good chance--Anthony Ranaudo is starting for the Rangers, who sucked last time.) Bad news though.. Twins beat the Cards on a Kennys Vargas walk-off HR.

    Wish SN had picked the Rangers/Dodgers game.. don't really care for the Mariners right now with the team struggling so badly, regardless of the fact King Felix and MadBum are pitching.

    David Murphy's now pitching for the Indians. 2nd night in a row we've seen a team use 2 position players to pitch. Neither Murphy or Raburn were effective. It's 17-0 now.

    Let's just hope Girardi doesn't Scott Proctor him and run him to the ground.. he was used for a 5-out save tonight, showing a lack of confidence in the Yankees pen.

    How long until Matt Williams joins Bud Black on the unemployment line, which also has spots reserved for John Farrell, Ben Cherington, Lloyd McClendon and Jack Z? Nats are losing again.. they continue to underperform badly.

    Good thing the Jays won.. looks like we're not gaining ground vs. the Rays and Yankees, as they are winning. Still have a shot to pick up ground on the Rangers and Twins, though..

    Girardi doesn't have many options with Miller on the DL.. and he's going to run Betances to the ground the way he uses him.
