  1. wow yankees pitcher gets hit twice in the same inning by comebackers
  2. he has had some serious 'glares' at home plate but doesn't appear to have said anything.
  3. seems umpire is squeezing dickey a bit in this game.
  4. So glad this game wasn't televised today, couldn't stand watching another happ s*** show, was bad enough listening to it at times today. Hate happ, don't care what they do with him, eat the money and dfa this shitberg. I don't want to see this guy pitch for the Jays ever again.
  5. Haven't seen a Jays game on tv in a while and finally today its on and its f***in' happ pitching. I hate this guy so much feel like my day is already ruined before he's even thrown a pitch because i know i will watch the horror show no matter how bad it is.
  6. Starting a 4 game series in T Bay is not the ideal way for the Jays to start the season. If they could split the games that would be awesome. Hoping Dickey has a dancing Knuckler in their dome and screws up their hitters for a few days after his start. Home opener should be pretty crazy vs Yanks and Tanaka hype and I'm not sure Morrow has to the stones to rise to that type of occasion in his first mlb game since last may.
  7. Todd Stotettlemyre, hated that guy so much, he played for a lot of good Jays teams and I always thought he sucked. Currently I hate Happ with a passion, cant stand watching that guy pitch for the Jays.
  8. i saw him pitch the other day, he has such movement on everything, you can see why he struggles with his command once he can learn to pitch ahead and get some of those 2 seamers into the strike zone as called strikes he will be a very good pitcher. lunchbox giving it to the jays in this one 3 for 3 with a HR and 3 RBI
  9. i agree with this sentiment. hope he keeps sucking so that they can't bring him north with the team.
  10. its that new and improved 'arm angle' of his don't worry he will be awesome.
  11. Damn i hate watching Happ pitch. throw a strike thats not pipped for once in your jays career inbetween all the walks.
  12. i wasn't getting blocked last year for Jays games while watching them in Toronto. hopefully that continues or I just sign into Rogers anywhere tv to watch the games. the mlb.tv is a pretty sweet package, with its cross platform apps, i can watch games on any device i own.
  13. how much are they signing capuano for? he seems like a good guy to stash away at buffalo at least if he would sign that kind of deal. Maybe the team really doesn't have any money to spend, maybe Ricky's useless contract has to be moved to free up more money.
  14. I don't think there is anyway that Stroman breaks camp with the team no matter how good he looks this spring, they won't start his arbitration clock earlier than they need to. Which would be only their second smart move of this offseason (other being dumping JPA)
  15. You can also watch Jays games on line with Rogers anyplace tv if you use rogers for anything else like internet/cable whatever. I also have MLB.tv and was never blocked watching jays games on it this year for some reason. excited to check out this new channel during these boring winter days.
  16. This was pretty interesting to read, thanks for the info.
  17. Give him the chance to start, nothing he has done on the field says he can't continue to be an effective starter. The best pitcher of my lifetime (Pedro Martinez) was about stromans height but less physically developed and he was pretty good i'd say. he too was told he was too small to start, think he did alright. Not saying stroman is the next pedro but he doesn't have to be to prove shorter pitchers can be starters and have effective careers. Not every pitcher needs to put up 5+ war seasons every year to be considered a successful draft choice.
  18. Love the guy.... ... when he's not in the lineup and on the DL.
  19. Just found this board today as link from BreakingBlue which is another new site to me which also looks pretty good. Looking forward to being entertained by some hard core Jays fans this offseason as I can already see there are quite a few enthusiastic posters on this site. oh yeah hi i'm new here. .
