  1. Osuna time!
  2. i agree with most of this, but weren't we all saying the same about Henderson Alvarez when he was a jay? he seems to be doing something right and is carving out a nice career in miami right now. i think we just need to be patient with Sanchez. He has such power in that arm, surely he will eventually get some command of the secondary stuff. as i mentioned earlier he really needs a changeup to use against lefties.
  3. does sanchez remind anyone of henderson alvarez? all hard sinkers, secondary pitches are not really where they need to be yet. Really needs good infield defence behind him because of low k's.
  4. he got hit on this right hand by Ubaldo, but has so far stayed in the game.
  5. i don't think you are the only one.
  6. what a fluky game this has been against poor sanchez, can't buy a break or a strikeout.
  7. valancia with a hit of RHP and a sb. the real Ubaldo showed up this inning.
  8. of course not, its a boring spring training game.
  9. think sanchez throws at an oriole next inning?
  10. Does sanchez throw a changeup? Seems like he could use one against lefties.
  11. wow that guy couldn't hit the fastball, sanchez shakes off the catcher and he rips that hanging curve for a 2b.
  12. still not missing bats but guys kept pounding the ball in the ground in front of home plate, making for some tough plays on defence.
  13. noah looked good in that first inning but did his best 'sanchez' in the 2nd. gose with the lead off hit off him to start the inning
  14. the only televised game all day is yanks vs philly's and im not sure its free.
  15. gose and goins back to back is masterful managing.
  16. No I believe Francona was already signed by Cleveland that offseason, I know I was hoping the jays would sign him.
  17. Why is everyone so late against this friar guy. Hes topping out at 91
  18. All the more reason to not expect him to make that play then. Im not trying to defend him.
  19. Odd bend in that wall and unfamiliar park for him.
  20. Damn that link keeps crashing my phone will have to look at it on a computer. Love the Barfield clip. Still have a game used barfield bat in my basement.
  21. I dont understand why he is hitting leadoff still he is currently an automatic out right now swing is terrible how many pop up outs to the infield has he hit since coming back.
  22. Despite their current record pirates are the better team. They work counts, use the whole field. They dont lead off a guy with a .250 oba
  23. So true that's what I was doing all week until tonight.
