Up to this point we've averaged 3 runs per 9 innings. Offense hasn't been nearly as good as people are saying.

Looked pretty good I'd say. 4 K 1 BB over 5 IP. Saw 96 on the gun (maybe more). He gave up 3 in the third but really shouldn't of been more than 1... two lucky chopping singles and one triple that should of been a single (Bautista misplayed).

OK the point was he always starts off in a 1-2 or 0-2 count, i.e. not a hitters count, not a count that's destined for results.

Hard to disagree with this but you're also talking about a guy that's often a strike-out leader so maybe it just seems that way.

Morrow always seems to have these unlucky games. He shouldn't of even given up more than 1 run in the last inning if luck was more on his side.

It's already been mentioned but more vaguely, so thought I'd share this. Dickey's max KN velocity was 77.8, he averaged 74.9 with it. Last season he was maxing out around 80-81 but the average was just slightly higher at 75.8. Though the average is a loopy stat to go with since I'm pretty sure Dickey throws a soft, medium, and hard KN intentionally.
