    God....no kidding. That guy took no responsibility for his performance whining and crying about media treatment putting up historically bad numbers....which he continued to do in Texas....until...AAA again. He is having a reverse career now in his mind. All part of the plan.

    Just too hard to tell with CR. 2012 CR was junk-2013 better. Rest of year will tell tale on his payday. Agree BJ deal will hurt him. Also think AJ was overpaid in BAL with stupid term. You would THINK teams will shy away from repeating those.

    I get the Upton comparable but CR started last yr with same epic K rate and put together solid numbers before missing last part of 2013. His OPS this year is better than Adam jones and he has 10 more Ks. Who knows what he will do this yr if he gets healthy. He remains an enigma. I have no prob with Gose in CF next year and I guess we will see what we really have. Jays have some big decisions on Melky/Colby.

    Rasmus gets healthy and puts together another 2013 OPS (seems a long way off now), his payday will be a lot bigger than a lot of Jays fans think imo. Likely not with us.

    Chisox had a great staff. We are 6 weeks in. Enjoy it while we can. He is amazing to watch.

    CJ isn't 2012 CJ and he isn't even 2013 CJ yet. He is struggling to command that slow curve he likes to drop in missing badly with it. He is getting it done so far in a short sample size and Im glad he is back. But he lives on the edge like MB and he will need to get sharper on his command. Heres hoping he does.

    That's a very fair assessment. MB's April last year was epically bad and the whole team fell on its face. That against the backdrop of his contract had a chicken little effect. Some people were going on about his dogs and not liking TOR blah blah. When in fact MB is what he always has been.

    MB is a enigma. His innings eating and durability dealin' that goo never fails to amaze me. He deserved better last night but he will get a W in some games this year he didn't deserve I'm sure. I think he is @ $17mm 2014, but when you look at what Jiminez and Arroyo etc. have done for 12-13mm per its a steal so far this year. We all know he wont end up with a 2 ERA. But in this SP market 200 IP and an ERA around 4 is at a premium. MB is full value and has reignited his asset value as a LHP with vet experience to a team looking to bolster their depth should we ever need to go that way (which I hope we don't).
