He is brutal but this take isn't completely out there. I think "irresponsible" is the wrong desciptor. We have to trust their medical staff. Leg injuries have been known to throw off mechanics in recovery etc. Dustin McGowan went through that.(and everything else) But the kid has only had 20 MLB starts and most of us have Stro pencilled in as a lock to be a front end rotation guy, based on the stuff we saw in a small sample size. -

Our D isn't getting enough credit. Above avg plays by Revere, Pillar, Tulo, JD, Goins on the DP turn and Smoak changed this course of the game. (a dozen runs didn't hurt either )

Freeman walking the bases loaded down 10-2 should just about push the cheese off of Banister's cracker.

We have had a good offense for a few years but it was bombs away or shut down. I love that these guys don't K much and they work the arms to make them come in....and they can still launch.

Its even more astonishing when you think one of those losses Lowe gave it up in an uncharacteristic 1st appearance with us and then of course Gibby bringing in Sanchez with runners on 2B and 3B with less than 2 out....and Beltran got him. Other than those the pen has been very good.

The numbers are interesting on the guy. Aside from just the math, his approach at the plate seems to be so solid. He is hitting the ball to all fields with authority consistently. I've been so skeptical of the guy at the plate, but I have to start to believe he is a legit MLB + bat. His D on the other hand... I remember calling Juan Francisco V.02 2015 early on. That was dumb

Glad she gave it back. My boy is 7 and he would have laid some apoplectic whoop ass on her if she tried to take a ball from him like that. Poor little kid.
