    Just a brutal call on that strike. Changed whole inning and drove up pitch count. The game needs robo umps on balls and strikes so badly now. The strike grid is so visible to viewers on TV.

    Those narratives drive me bonkers, especially over a short window (also known as a hot streak). We got that once or twice from Tabby every season with Pillar and his offense was remarkably consistently weak overall. I remember watching both Jose's and Edwin's transformation periods. I kept waiting for bottom to drop out but it didn't for years. Edwin (like Teoscar looks now) did learn to lay off breaking balls low and away better. He always had the pop. Jose fundamentally changed his stance/approach, but he always had great pitch selection. Its so rare that it all sticks in sustained way. JD is another example but that started in Oakland. But most importantly neither were as handsome as "Randy".

    Grichuk is turning back into Grichuk, as his 108 wRC+ sinks towards his 105 career #. Just a good reminder for me how hot streaks and small sample sizes mean jack s*** most times. Love to see him get hot again.

    Was fun to watch him last night. Butchered frame on a couple pitches and that Dolis wild pitch was a poor block. Overall though he looked good at the plate and behind it. Media going bezerk. Need to remember JPA hit 2 HRS in his first MLB I think. Before we declare Kirk to be the next Pudge let’s see some more.

    Just watched Roark interview. Fk. Far be it for me to defend Buntoyo but Roark is the wrong guy to complain about being yanked. He is walking too many and getting lit. Want to stay in longer? Pitch better. Fk off.

    Just finished GM. Wow. Didn’t call a Davis bomb and a clean 9th for Dolis. That 3rd k in 9th was great pitch sequence and execution. Splits down and then went up with 96. He swung under. Man, the pen was fantastic. Big throw Jansen to nail Hicks at 3B. Good for Davis. Nice win Jays.

    Its so f***ing frustrating. I think the last pitch was away on the corner. I dont know if they will ever do it but taking that subjective element out of the game with robo umps would just make it so much better. At least in my view. Remember the Revere and Navarro ABs 2015 playoffs vs KC vs Wade Davis. We got totally robbed on BS strike calls at end of series with Pompey on 3B.

    LOL. true. Walker had no choice. Here it is...see if you can hit it. Good break for us to get out of that unscathed although it could be a short night for Walker. We need to get light up Happ.

    I don't need a lecture thanks. He has sucked ass for us. Just a fact. I hope and think he will play better. Would not be hard for a guy with that talent. Looking forward to it.

    yup! I had to catch last nights gm on PVR late but didnt know the score. Man, that was fun to watch. Felt good for Jansen. He/we needed that blast badly. Villar really has so much suck for far for us. He is like a 4 WAR guy not far removed? Really hoping he turns it around and gets hot.

    I know we might win....cause its 2020 and Buntoyo 4 dimensional chess, but that bottom 4 in the line up on paper looks like a deep dark black cavern of badness.

    Can one of you smart guys tell me how well or not Shaw is doing against Fastballs? His bat looks Anthony Alford slow through zone. Painful. I’m developing an irrational dislike of Vlad. He is fat and not that smart. It’s seems like hitting came easy to EVerro and he hasn’t figured out he isn’t the best anymore. In today’s game one dimensional players irritate me. The last couple games his PAs have looked more like earlier in the season. The little league dash he made last night home was brain dead. Jose used to think he was fast too and run into a lot of outs but at least he wasn’t a chunker.
