    I know this offense is going to start to roll at some point. They just have so much talent. Got to get healthy and consistent ABs. Pretty sad right now. We are RHH heavy but Tellez and Biggio can't get off to a much slower start than this. Their numbers will move up.

    So very sorry Hurl. Deepest condolences. I would hope our Board is free from debates and misinformation of any type about COVID. The Board should be an escape from the topic unless its about reporting on players playing or not playing as a result of exposure. Many people have had real impacts from this. All of us touched one way or another, some in more serious ways. Some I just read from Thanos and Hurl & others, which gives me pause on some of my current views on the topic.

    It’s a shame Tabby makes me mute my sound. Between he and Hazel they destroy the broadcast. He is nauseating. Great to see Gurriel coming on. If we can get these guys rolling and add Teo and Springer it’s formidable.

    I just looked at his stats. 233 wRC+ yikes. Its been great to see his emergence to be more of what he and most of us expected. Kudos to him for working out so hard to get his weight down. He looks better in all facets of the game.

    Many remember this fiasco 1997 Marlins Brave Livian Hernandez playoff game? About the most egregious example i can remember of an umps zone deciding game. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/lets-consider-eric-gregg-and-livan-hernandez-in-the-1997-nlcs/ 2015 Game 6 vs KC still pisses me off. We are facing Wade Davis and Pompey gets to 3B. We have Navarro and Revere up. All of a sudden the zone changes and balls that were called balls all game are now strikes destroying their ABs. Davis loved to use the splitter, so the difference between 3-1 and 2-2 count was monumental. Next thing I know we lost, and Revere is beating a garbage can and my 7 year old boy is bawling his eyes out in shock. No, we don't need umpires. We need robo umps with a consistent accurate strike zone. It would cut down on MLB K rate and improve the game.

    For those traditionalists who think the variables of a particular umps strike zone (also known as f***ed up calls) improves the game I’ll never understand it. It’s 2021. We have improved technology. This is a great game. We don’t need idiots and or egomaniacal umps helping decide the outcome. Angel Hernandez should be all the evidence required to move to robo umps.

    Bummed about Merryweather. I would like to blame Buntoyo for making him throw 30+ in the outing before his last. It would just make me feel better. I need to irrationally lash out. Can i do that? Probably not fairly lol.

    Just watched on PVR. Bo with controlled violence swing to rip that breaking ball over RF fence. Pretty incredible. Pen was great.

    Good job Vlad. How is Vlad doing against high velocity? He seems like he fouls off or misses a higher 90s velocity. Rarely squares it up. Just the eye test. What do the numbers say?

    It’s hard enough for LHH to hit a LHP with 101, sliders and f***ing now splitters but the umps have to interject ******** calls. That called 3rd strike was 4 inches low at 101. There was no chance for Rowdy. Disgraceful in the days of technology we have that hitters still have to put up with that.
