  1. Our best game so far this year. Estrada as solid as ever, and cold-blooded Osuna!
  2. f*** Gibbons. That's all I want to say. His bullpen management has been awful for quite some time. f*** AA for re-hiring him, and f*** Shapiro for keeping him. We would've had a real chance in ALCS with an able manager last year. People say manager doesn't win games, maybe but a bad manager does lose games.
  3. That dream rotation for years to come! We would be contenders year after year.
  4. Tonight's Sanchez is the Sanchez we all hope to see as Jays fans. Now I can't wait to wtach his next start, especially against a more potent offense like RedSux. It'll be telling.
  5. BTW, Where's Dickey effect?
  6. I know it's Gibby's choice, we can't do anything about it as fans. But Pillar is just not a good leadoff buy. I mainly look for 2 things from a my leadoff hitter: 1. OBP lol obviously 2. #Pitches per AB, which's very important in my eyes. It increase pitch count for opposing SP, and let the offense to have good look at his pitches evry early on.
  7. I believe/Hope Sanchez will be a decent starter in the future. But he needs to develop another off-speed pitch and have more better command of his fastball first. So a few months in AAA will help him.
  8. And I'd like to see all of Sanchez, Hutchinson and Osuna in AAA to develop
  9. Felipe! What a manager and un humble human being. Felipe was my favorite manager ever. He was doing wonders with the Expos. I was an Expos fan before they moved to DC.
  10. I really don't feel strong on a long-term JoseB extension. From an emotional point of view, I want him back. He's been a big part of our team. I think he can still produce on a elite level on the offensive side. But I'm kind of skeptical on giving him a 4-5 years deal for 2 reasons: 1. I don't want him to be our long-term RF. While he still has the canon arm, I've seen enough of him struggling getting to the ball. 2. Any player can just fall off a cliff offensively when they are at his late 30's. It's like a time bomb. Prime example is Pujols, like many already mentionned.
  11. Hope Revere can get on base today. It makes our offense so much more dangerous.
  12. Tulo for Carrasco straight up? That would be fantastic.
  13. It made me sick watching Syndergaad pitching tonight.
  14. I understand you might have to trade and overpay for the last missing pieces of a championship roster. But I can't help myself but ask the question; What if we never did the Marlins trade, the Dickey trade and the Price trade? We would be a better team, for now and and the years to come!
  15. I like this Cubs team. So much young talent on this team. They'll be scary good for many years to come. Both Cubs and Mets have elite pitching. If we advance to World Series, it will be epic battle between the best offense vs one of the best pitching. The best possible, most interesting games to watch. I don't fear neither of the two. If our offense clicks, we can beat any pitcher no matter who pitches.
