Thank you ace3113. Sounds like Matt Dermody has got potential. It seems like he could use a wicked strength and conditioning program though. Just dream on the potential adding crazy muscle to that frame and loose arm. Could possibly upgrade his stuff a level or two. Sounds like he's a hard gainer, maybe throw him on the Tim Collins program and weighted balls program.

Yikes. Bundy to undergo TJS. So much for trying to baby his ass last year when he was destroying A-ball. Overused and abused in HS or sometimes pitchers are destined for TJS, just a matter of when. There goes his power in the near and maybe long term future. Luckily for the Yanks, 80% of his salary this year will be covered. Unluckily for them is that they have to pay Big Tex and his weak wrist $22.5MM for the next three years. lmao

I guess I'm OK with the move. I would have preferred optioning Loup or Wagner, but I have feeling Gibbons had a say in the matter, probably electing to keep the 8-man BP in tact. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I would rather keep Boni than to DFA him for Kawa. I still think Boni can be a valuable asset down the line (years down the line), better than Kawa. And I'm sure Reyes will make us forget about Kawa soon enough. Hey, if things don't work out with our other bench players, they can always bring up kawa.
