No. Pillar being on third creates a different series of events. Donaldson probably doesn't get the same pitch, maybe he doesn't even hit one out. Stop complaining about plays in hindsight. Every play leads to the next play in one way or another. You don't just get to go back and erase mistakes and assume everything good that happened afterwards would occur the same way.

Saying things like the above quote shouldn't help him get leverage -- it should cost him leverage, on account of him coming off like a f***ing nut. I don't know how this guy still has any credibility in baseball.

Yeah, the Buck interview is on there too, just search "high heat" in the MLB Video section. It was pretty inconsequential and PC; he basically said that the Jays are the best pure-talent team in the AL East and that the Orioles will just have to play better. Didn't give any comment on what Bautista said about him, basically tip-toed around the whole incident.

And he says that no women are portrayed as dominant characters; I haven't even read the whole of the first book but I remember that in the very first few chapters, Daenerys was already beginning to show "dominance" over Drogo, despite Drogo being portrayed as one of the strongest men in the story. The entire series is based on dominant female personalities. Who reads a 90s fantasy war epic set in the late middle ages, expecting a "progressive approach"? Such a f***ing tool.
