  1. I think he took an awkward step out of the batter's box. I was afraid for a second that he might have rolled his ankle.
  2. http://www.playerwives.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/colby-rasmus-wife-megan-rasmus-2.jpg Dislike.
  3. This comment was made in this very thread.
  4. Except a team other than the Jays had 96 wins last year, and teams other than the Jays have had 90+ wins every year since 2000. If the Jays wanted to win the division last year, they didn't need to outplace the Yankees at 85 wins, they needed outplace the Orioles with 97.
  5. So whenever he's had a league average BABIP, he's been league average? http://i.imgur.com/ENjMdkK.png
  6. So if the Jays win even a single game in the series, we get a week without Jonn, and if the Jays don't at least split, we get a week without RealAcupuncturist? I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but can we make it even more interesting (for the rest of us) and establish that if the Jays go 1-3 in the series, you both technically lose, and you both don't log in for a week?
  7. No it doesn't. Someone in this division is almost always going to fluke or over-perform their way to 90. Over the past 25 years, only twice has a team won the AL East by less than 90 wins, and it hasn't happened since 2000. I don't see something as unlikely as that happening in a period where both the Orioles and the Yankees continue to wildly outperform their projections and their run differentials. People said the same thing last year and the Orioles ended up with the 2nd best record in baseball. With the amount of parity in the division right now, only one team needs to go on a prolonged hot streak to be able to beat the s*** out of the other four teams and pad a lead. Edit: Started writing that post earlier, got sidetracked, BTS basically ninja'd the same point before me.
  8. So it is passion in their own way? http://i.imgur.com/ENjMdkK.png
  9. The umpires in this series have been worse than people who don't believe in Jeff Hoffman.
  10. Zaun just said that the Jays might not see Bautista in the field again all year, so they should trade Reyes and make Goins the everyday shorstop. Zaun is Gruber confirmed.

  12. You can tell which forum members are Mike Wilner when someone defends Mike Wilner.
  13. Mike Wilner is the Theon Greyjoy of baseball.
  14. Let's be honest. Devon Travis is no Jeff Hoffman.
  15. Can we all agree that if (*when) Hoffman proves all of you utterly despicable non-believers wrong, that none of you will be allowed to enjoy the bountiful gift that is his existence? You must remain forever soft. I mean, he has the word "Man" in his name. You know who else has that? Marcusstro Man. That should tell you enough. #HoffmanisLove #HoffmanisLife #JustCallHimATop10ProspectRightNow #WhyWait #TheMinorsAreJustAFormality #RoTY2016 #RoTY2017Also
  16. Would you say that, because I'm not a scout, but I do have an interest in ironies, that there's a possibility that I may actually be more qualified than most scouts? Even if you disagree, that Kylie Minogue guy shares my sentiments about Jeff Hoffman (the savior), so you are wrong either way. Do you see not see this trap that you have built around yourself? It's okay, Jeff Hoffman doesn't discriminate. He will save you from yourself.
  17. I have an off-topic philosophical question that I've been pondering lately. Why does Viagra still exist, now that we have Jeff Hoffman?
  18. You're so good at tying things together to make legitimate, noteworthy points. Great player was once highly touted prospect, therefore highly touted prospect will most definitely become great player. I don't see any holes in that logic. You should become RealLawyer. This must mean that I've been right all along. Jeff Hoffman is currently a well regarded prospect in the Jays system, which means he's the next Roy Halladay. I have achieved affirmation. Thank you for bringing me on this journey with you.
  19. The carcass of his once promising career was recently cremated in tribute to the baseball gods, an act of good faith for the generosity that they have so warmly bestowed upon the Jays by gifting us Jeff Hoffman.
  20. Hoffman will embarrass all of you peasants.
