Before he was pulled out for precaution form the pitch to the head, Pompey had a 24 game hit streak in NH dating back to last year. The kid really loves to hit there. I do agree that the Jays can take their time with Pompey but they should also have him back up in Buffalo soon I hope.

I would be all over Kratz, but alas we'd need to trade Navarro to make it happen. Its crazy that a better catcher is out there unemployed while the Jays are paying $5M for Navarro to stay on the bench. I don't understand baseball guys.

Think Boyd is a Gravemam than a Nolin. Someone who is capable of being a mid rotation starter or better. Still, you trade him for long term assets if you can. Pitchers are a crap shot and the Jays probably have more pitchers than they know what to do with.

That would be a amazing trade, but I don't see the Jays pulling the trigger while Beast is still around. You may more likely see Gio being targeted by the Jays as he was a target in the past while he was with the A's. I would trade EE sooner than I would Bau. For some reason I just see Bautista deteriorating at a slower rate than EE.

Probably the worst time to extend Estrada.. I am on the fence if you even bring him back for next season but he probably provides enough utility/depth to justify it.

I am not a scouting expert like the rest of the peeps here but from what I've herd, they have a pretty decent and deep farm system that they could probably move a few pieces and not really hurt/cripple the team heading forward.

If you had written its SMOAK and mirrors, I would have laughed, nodded my head, given you a thanks. But you ruined it. Jokes aside, the only team I can see getting desperate enough and dumb enough to trade for Navarro is Seattle. Can't think of many other teams that could really be "fooled" by Navvy/AA.
