    Ahh, now i understand why they had so many runners in the extra innings. Every time i looked the bases were loaded.

    Team Canada just won on a 2 run error by the pitcher trying to pick off the runner at first base.

    It's a steal now but around the time he signed it he showed good signs but hardly pitched more than 5 innings per game. At the time i thought it was a very risky move on their part.

    Interesting part, Gray has better splits away than home. Numbers wise Gray and Stroman are very similar, Gray xFIP in away games is 2.99 (2015) and Stroman xFIP in home games is 2.91 (2014).

    If the Jays picked you in the draft that same year, i would definitely take your word for it. That's not the point though, the point is it shows intent and then something changed.

    If AA went with buy low, we wouldn't have Donaldson right now. AA would like to have another Donaldson as long as he's sure he is getting one. Hamels is kinda close to that, but who knows.

    According to the segment that was on SN yesterday by Shi Davidi, AA bought himself more time by the additions of Donaldson and Martin.

    There is also the theory that AA can convince Rogers that this is the right move and they should give him more money.

    Why everyone want to get rid of Sanchez? I know he's chaotic at times but he has shown enough for me to be optimistic about him.

    It seems like there is a good chance we need to DFA him to get rid of him. And even then we may be on the hook for his remaining contract.

    And they ended up going with someone who cost almost nothing. Which brings back my point, many teams don't think he's worth his salary.

    It looks like they are looking for a cheap backup rather than a starter, so chances are probably against Navarro.
