Boras makes a good case actually. He listed a number of pitchers after TJS who didn't have a limit and they weren't the same compared with a few that did have a limit and they continued to have success.

His contract said that if he is going to be traded, then he gets full no trade from his new team. We are the new team so he has full no trade.

When he was blowing saves he had no command on his fastball so he threw like 5 curveballs one after the other, it didn't end well.

Why? Tulo has a full no trade. Hamels was almost impossible to move and he did have some teams he wasn't able to block. In fact, if i was Tulo, i'd be house hunting right now.

In the 1st half he had 0.2 WAR and in the 2nd half he has 1.3 WAR already. In the 1st half he had 60 wRC+ in 211 PA's and in the 2nd half he has 138 wRC+ in 121 PA's. Here is how he fares in the 2nd half compared to other 2B in the league with a minimum of 100 PA. http://i.imgur.com/7718Z3S.png

Chris Colabello is batting .330, Smoak is batting .215

His defense in the outfield is extremely terrible. If you just look at 1B then Smoak is still better defensively but it's not a huge gap anymore. Batting wise, Colabello has wRC+ of 146 compared with 96 of Smoak. Value wise, Colabello has 0.7 WAR at 304 PA compared with 0.1 WAR at 258 PA. I guess they want to keep them both and make sure they are fresh. -

Not sure I agree, he actually had a couple of good swings that resulted in fly outs. No idea if they were balls or strikes as I was in the game but the swings were good.
