  1. They should clearly pay for the suit, the guy is on league minimum and goes like a yo yo between places. Does he even get much of that money? At the time he probably earned ~1 month pay of league minimum. It's still a nice amount but he's a smart kid, why would he spend 1k on something he doesn't need when he still doesn't have any kind of financial guarantees?
  2. I like Buck and Tabler. Only one thing i don't like so much this season, Buck kinda stopped with his usual HR chant and just makes it up as he goes, i liked the older version. "Deep drive to left field, Gardner at the track, at the wall, looking up, goodbye homerun!"
  3. Gattis with 2 run HR. 7-0 Astros and Nova is out of the game after 4+ innings.
  4. Damn, 5-0 all after 2 outs and nobody on...
  5. Yea, but unless you have someone else to put on the 40, does it really matter?
  6. His pitches look crisp.
  7. Haha, i saw you on TV then, i noticed the cigar and was like, what the hell is this guy doing.
  8. Shultz throws 98 for strikes. Delaber throws 94 for balls.
  9. They're used to getting those calls, can't blame them.
  10. What happened to him?
  11. Even if Tulo is having a hard time, pitchers are still afraid of him, that reputation alone might have move value than Revere.
  12. This is what facing our lineup feels like (skip to 1:10)
  13. Out of curiosity, how much does 1st or 2nd place MVP affect arbitration hearings?
  14. Haha, Maccan missed a pop foul ball, Santana hit a homer the next pitch.
  15. Carrasco would probably have cost Hutch + Osuna +++
  16. We are playing against the team that released #FYSMC.
  17. How Do Amphetamines Help a Baseball Player? Amphetamines artificially stimulate brain activity. As a recreational drug, it is familiarly known as "speed." While not illegal, it does require a prescription. In a season that covers 162 games played in 180 days, many players came to rely on greenies for bursts of energy to make it through the grueling schedule. It helps players focus and recover after long night games. Unlike steroids, which transform ballplayers into completely different athletes, greenies temporarily help focus.
  18. Going to be really stupid if the first GM to send us to the playoffs in 20 years gets booted. Might aswell just tell the next GM, if you want your job, don't reach the playoffs.
  19. Maybe now we can afford to get Valencia back...
  20. I second giving TRM the role. We been horrible ever since he stopped.
  21. What the hell!!! Is that for real?
