    Both Happ and Estrada already knew about Toronto, in both cases there was a good reason to give them a chance. I'm sure there are other good pitchers that would want to come to Toronto for similar figures but it's not that common.

    Orioles don't have a farm system though. The last couple seasons every time they went for a rental, they got burned, I doubt they try it again.

    He does, both him and Edwin have 10/5 rights. And Tulo has a full no trade clause. Having said that, if you tell him you want to trade him I'm sure he will accept it, just a matter of agreeing to which team. Think of Cole Hamels last season, even though he had to agree on destination, they still got a ton for him but he has many more years of control than Batutista. If you do trade him, I'm guessing something like the Cespedes deal is comparable, assuming of course Bautista is healthy.

    So if he was able to control it early on and wasn't able to after 70+ pitches, doesn't it mean he's tired?

    If average drops from 97 to 94, just because he's trying to hurry up and throws at 110% doesn't mean he's not tired, could probably be worse.

    Am I the only one who's worried about Sanchez? Pretty much every start by the 5th inning his velocity drops from 97 to 94. I'm no expert but my understanding is that fatigue is a major red flag for injuries.

    Yea, they will acquire Wade LeBlanc back from the Mariners so he will be eligible for the post season.

    It can be acquired only if it's from the supplemental rounds. So if small market teams "won" those picks, they can trade them away.
