    I think AA has a big problem right now, he believes ALOT in leadership and clubhouse gelling together. If you send down Kawasaki you risk losing that mindset. Only "long" term option is to train Kawasaki at playing 2nd base and trade Boni. I don't see them sending an arm down and not sure they want to send Kawasaki down.

    Dickey will improve, he started to get his velocity back today, was as high as 82mph today.

    What scares me is how the team going to gel if they send Kawasaki down, it could kill the team spirit.

    It's bad when it's off season and half the team is new and didn't get a chance to gel yet. Right now i don't think it matters.

    I love the pitchtrax. Sometimes i watch other games and they only show it when they weren't sure if it was a ball or strike, hate it.

    You missed my point, i'm happy that they want him, it means he's doing something right and i'm proud of that.

    Wang has been "lucky" even when he was winning 19 games with the Yankees, that's just the way he pitches, he gives lots of ground balls and let his defense handle the rest. He's also a veteran that been there long enough not to freak out in those situations and he has proved (so far) that he can handle being a starter. Would i prefer him to just strike out or ground out 27 out of 27? Sure. But that's not who he is, he will sink the ball, give alot of singles, pitch deep into the game and keep your team in the game long enough that you can actually win it.

    So far he has been great, and i don't suppose you suggest switching to 4 man rotation so the other option right now is Jenkins. I wouldn't risk bringing RR up any time soon. EDIT: BTW, quite a few Yankees fans are kicking themselves cause they let him go without giving him a shot like we did.

    Why would we? Give everyone extra day rest instead of avoiding an extra day rest and skip a starter that may hurt us in his next start.

    Farrell is so clueless it's amazing. I think we overachieved last year if we were able to get 73 wins with him as manager. Just wait until their players realize how bad he is, should be a snowball (i hope)

    Looks like Casey Janssen is the 2nd most talked about closer option for the whole league. I've seen his name quite a few times around Tigers forums and even Red Sox fans think they should get him. I'm surprised no one mentioned Brett Cecil, i guess they don't know him well enough.... Yet.

    It's probably more to do about how he left rather than the fact he wanted to manage Boston. Add to the fact that he claims it wasn't his fault cause AA traded him, he's a real duch bag. Manager's main job is to manage the pen and he proves time after time that he sucks at it. I think give him some time and Boston will blow up like the Yankees.

    I don't see them playing Lind at left, why risk messing with his mind when he's so hot?

    Gibby mentioned before that when Reyes comes back he will probably put Reyes as number 1 and drop Melky down the order, i tend to agree with that.
