Brock Holt plays every position. I think something like Scott Van Slyke (minus the lefty killing) would be a bit more reasonable. -

You could easily replace NBA with MLB, NFL, FIFA (I don't know about the NHL but I'm sure it's the same s***) and it would have the same meaning.

This is likely just what happened. It would be super awkward for Abreu to come back and play in Cuba, as players kind of tend to "forgotten" when they leave Cuba to play in the MLB, at least that's what has happened historically.

Greinke is a really good pitcher. Dave Stewart is a really bad GM. Greinke is likely not worth that much. Alex Rodriguez is not worth $20M right now, and Josh Hamilton sure as hell isn't worth $30M.

I'd say this is exactly what determines the price/value of a player. If Prince Fielder, Bautista and Heyward (cheating I know) go on the market tomorrow, you know who's getting the most money.

Every prospect really, but the fact that Guerrero is so young and likely very far away just makes him that much more risky.

But you're saying that DeMar a) shouldn't have been the one with the ball or he shouldn't have driven to the rim with little time left. The first point is arguable, as obviously the Bulls would have been tightly guarding Kyle, and the second point didn't even come true since DD managed to get a step ahead of Butler, nearly scoring the game-tying bucket/drawing a foul.

Alright, so what should DeRozan have done different? Also, no one said anything about putting the game in the refs' hands, I'm sure DD was hoping to get a layup or a dunk but would have appreciated a call going his way after his defender was bumping and slapping him.

Is it in the rulebook that a player can't get a call while driving with less than 5 seconds left? I fail to see how you're doing anything but defending DD's action rather than taking a long contested 2/3 with one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA right on him.
