    Did you see the filth that Kluber threw him? Those are not easy pitches to recognize/hit.

    It's somewhat of a slurve from Kluber, kind of hard to classify, regardless it's an excellent pitch as is Archer's.

    Well for one, Encarnacion is already one of the best hitters in baseball, I don't think he's getting much better than this. Then there's also the fact that he's been one of few premier sluggers who manages to keep his strikeouts in check without sacrificing his power.

    Wow, Harrison Barnes offered a max contract over 4 years by the Mavs. 4/95 would be the deal. Isn't that a lot for him?

    Ken Griffey Jr. had 630 well positioned flyballs and he was a near-unanimous Hall of Fame selection. I don't see anyone complaining about his approach at the plate, and if someone actually did then they probably aren't/weren't very smart.

    Good pitcher, not elite, not "game over" kind of pitcher.

    Who cares? Homeruns are a good thing, why are we trying to discredit them? Encarnacion, Bautista and Donaldson all seemingly go up there and try to hit the ball as hard as possible in the air everytime, and it works out great. I'd take a walk and a homer over a few "well-placed" singles every day of the week, and I don't see why anyone would prefer different.
