  1. Really, you don't see it? Damn I thought it was an obvious observation.
  2. A bearded Daniel Descalso looks exactly like Matt Carpenter. Anyone?
  3. They use a humidor to somewhat neglect the effect of the elevation, but it still doesn't come close to eliminating the Coors effect.
  4. Junior Lake would rake in Coors. Oh wait, pretty much any MLB player could.
  5. It's Coors, so I won't make too much fuss about it, but the hitting approach in this game has been excellent.
  6. f***, Tulo drilled that the opposite way. s***** luck.
  7. I'm not going to go too deep into this, your preferences are your preferences, but it seems kind of weird to me to completely disregard entire groups of women because they don't fit the right ethnicity that you're looking for. It's like you would be missing on a ton of potentially attractive women, it's not like there's anything too different beneath the surface.
  8. It does, anywhere else and this ballpark would look huge I think. Probably one of the only stadiums where having the fences being pushed back is not a ridiculous option.
  9. Anyone is scary in this park, the ball carries like it's nobody's business. DJ Lemahieu is a below average hitter with good contact and terrible power. Mark Reynolds' batting average is nearly 0.60 higher than his career. Even Arenado is kinda overrated with his hitting. Pitchers just don't succeed here, the only memorable one is Ubaldo Jimenez.
  10. I think your view of him is clouded given that he plays in the ultimate hitter's heaven. I'd want him in LF in the same way I would want Colby Rasmus out there. He's really not that special of a player.
  11. Another mediocre Coors inflated player lol. Not really that big of a break.
  12. If you can fool some idiot GM (Dave Stewart) to buy into the inflated average and slugging then it might make sense to move him, in the same way that Billy Beane would ship out starters having career years in the O.Co. I would hope that most front offices nowadays would be aware of the Coors effect though. If they feel they're getting a younger league average at least player for Blackmon then it would make perfect sense to move him.
  13. He's literally a league average hitter/player. That's by no means trash, but he's not nearly as good as you think he is. His highest single-season WAR is 2.1 last year, and he's almost 30.
  14. I bet you're loving the approach by the bats today. They really are going with the ball, tons of opposite field hits.
  15. Blackmon is super meh, see my most recent post.
  16. Charlie Blackmon is your prototypical "looks amazing due to Coors" guy. Great avridges, decent enough OBP, inflated SLG, lots of steals (which makes him great in fantasy ball), yet is really a league average hitter with not good enough defense, making him literally an average MLB player.
  17. SSS still, he's been worse versus lefties thus far but like stated we don't have enough information to confirm that.
  18. Great idea Walt Weiss, totally didn't see that one coming.
  19. Wait wat, why did they just bring in a lefty with Travis, Donaldson and EE coming up?
  20. Hopefully Travis doesn't make Happ run very much, if you get where I'm going with this.
