  1. I understand the precedence, but I think they should have been given a chance to back off at least. Whatever it's not worth discussing further.
  2. Among outfield assists leaders, 2010-2016, Bautista ranked 5th overall. No one in the MLB Network booth could have pulled this up? "Not blessed with the best throwing arm" "Who expected him to beat you with his arm and not his bat?"
  3. Oh give me a break, were his feelings hurt? They were disputing a call in the midst of the most important moment in their country's baseball history (probably), you don't think he should have swallowed his pride and at least given them a chance to back off? The way he reacted as if they just told him to jump off a bridge (which may have happened idk) was absurd, come on it's not like they're attacking him.
  4. Matt Vasgersian still doesn't realize that Bautista used to have a fantastic arm. This is cringeworthy.
  5. Also did everyone catch when Matt Vasgersian said that Bautista "isn't blessed with the best throwing arm out of LF", uhhh that's all that his defense relied on for the majority of his career lmao. Did he just learn about Jose Bautista?
  6. Ugh the ump becoming full of himself at the worst time. Clearly the players were just passionate, give them a f***ing break instead of acting the like big man and ejecting everyone upon contact. Absolutely ridiculous.
  7. "The wingspan of Eric Hosmer paying an early dividend." It was a f***ing routine pop up that didn't even land in the dugout. Jesus, Hosmer is so incredibly overrated.
  8. So Felix, building from his streak of non-Felix like pitching, struggles against Puerto Rico and then asks his manager (Omar Vizquel for those not keeping up) to leave the game in a bases loaded 2-out situation. Oh boy.
  9. This is exciting as hell.
  10. wat
  11. Wow, epic chokejob/brilliant comeback! What an ending!
  12. Holy f***, nearly an amazing play from Verdugo but he drops it.
  13. Brandon Nimmo is just the guy Italy wants here, though it'll be tough against the LOOGY Perez.
  14. Osuna does not record a single out and leaves in favour of what appears to be Oliver Perez. Bases juiced no outs for Team Italy.
  15. Osuna being hit around by Team Italy. Entered with a 4-run lead, now 9-7 and still not outs for Italy.
  16. Alfredo Despaigne dropping bombs for Cuba in the group stage. Two massive homers thus far.
  17. I obviously agree with both of those statements but that's not really where I was coming from.
  18. I'm sure Vlad Jr. would choose to play for the DR, I doubt he has much connection to Canada other than being born there.
  19. Are there any requirements to be eligible for the roster? Surely some college/high school kid from the other Team Canada or some hard throwing minor leaguer could have been asked to join the squad.
  20. They're just having fun man.
  21. This really isn't surprising at all.
  22. Yikes
  23. Damn Freddie got robbed. That was some play by Machado.
  24. Attaboy Pompey. Whose idea was it to loft a 91 mph fastball down the pipe to Santana though?
  25. Absurd lineup, even an elite starter would struggle getting through it.
