He's arguably our best projected bench player. He doesn't look very good right now at the plate, but he's certainly not the only one on the team. -
I think the idea was that after walking the leadoff guy that Chavez would start Carrera off with a hittable fastball, good for hit and run. I don't mind the idea too much, Carrera did a f***ing awful job, he wasn't even close.

Oh yeah for sure. We had a lot of people advocating for the signing, and it's sad for us as Jays fans to see Thames do so well, but at the same time really exciting because he's a really cool dude.

I wouldn't worry too much about less than a month's worth of defensive stats. Pillar has made some dumb errors on the bases early on and that's why his baserunning is just below average. It's all SSS though.
