Major League umpires are such professionals. Class act day in and day out, flawlessly executing a job that computers could perform with precise accuracy, and most importantly keeping their egos in check, making sure to understand the perspective of the player and coach if and when a rare mistake happens. Of course, even better are the strict guidelines in place to keep wrongdoers in check, for in the unlikely scenario where an umpire steps out of line, they are punished severely which prevents future occurrences of the same and makes sure the players, not the officiating, dictates the game.
