  1. Well Betts gets to face the Orioles 18 times this season as well as the Blue Jays' trainwreck of a pitching staff.
  2. At least it's not at the Trop.
  3. Phegley's PTBNL, Holland's LAST NAME and Boxberger's are easily the best.
  4. I see you too read Cistulli's Fringe Five lol.
  5. Thanks for letting us know that you dropped 1B JP Arencibia, I'm sure there will be a lot of suitors.
  6. You're right, he should just throw fastballs every time. Works for Aaron Sanchez right?
  7. He's literally gotten all of his strikeouts on sliders but okay.
  8. Jesus that was Stanton-esque.
  9. Because depth is important and injuries are a part of the sport, it's really good to have guys that can fill in for a few weeks/months and not kill your team ala Ryan Goins or Mat Latos. You don't trade half a year of Joe Smith or Francisco Liriano expecting an average starter, but if you can get even a decent platoon bat or 6th/7th starter that's how you avoid your team bottoming out if one of the actual starters goes down - obviously if several of them get injured then you're f***ed anyway. At the very least a guy like Teoscar shows average starter potential and Taylor is a lottery pick, they're not just complete garbage. The control is a bonus for one because you might be able to send them up and down as you please, and if you hit the jackpot with one of them then you have a good player on the cheap. For the record I believe Pannone at least shows 5th starter potential.
  10. Man that Joe Smith trade was so good along with the Liriano one. Boring on the surface, no one is likely emerging as a star or even an average starter here, but that's already two guys from last year's deadline that will have made their debut with the team and have a ton of control, and Samad Taylor is still somewhat interesting in the low minors.
  11. Yikes those walks are no joke.
  12. Like any good editor John will leave them in and create a montage out of it.
  13. Pfft Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez is where it's really at, now that guy is a run producer!
  14. It's strong sarcasm, baubau is a cool dude.
  15. Did you just list his W-L record?
  16. I'm biased but even with that in mind that 7th inning was completely ridiculous from start to finish, Freese had a great one hitting it to the fence with Nelson Cruz f***ing up, but the Rangers-Jays inning had it all, Elvis Andrus became a Blue Jays legend in that one.
  17. This season just keeps on giving.
  18. That slider is so f***ing filthy.
  19. Welp my ratios aren't coming back from that one.
  20. Justin Smoak is Kimbrel's father lmao.
  21. He went full Joey Gallo in New Hampshire.
  22. f*** and I was waiting so eagerly to watch Ken Giles pitch against this team.
  23. Travis and Tepera, just wow.
  24. Travis you gotta attack the ball bro, what was that?
