  1. Refereeing in the NBA is really something else.
  2. What's your beer palette like? Do you prefer bitter, sour, fruity/citrusy, etc?
  3. Yeah he barely reached AA as is (props to P2F for noticing). It's a great find but having a good prospect in the MLB before they have to be is really annoying come cuts time.
  4. OG and Pascal looking fantastic, hopefully the rest of the team catches up to them in the second half.
  5. We look terrible right now.
  6. Gaviglio had better strikeout, walk and groundball rates in more innings, in both the majors and the minors. Unless you can somehow prove that Borucki has a skill for suppressing homeruns, or an elite control of the running game, then Gaviglio was better than Borucki in pretty much every skill that matters and he has reasonable control over.
  7. Gaviglio is much more useful than someone like Biagini. He'd very likely get claimed if he was dropped off the 40-man, not that we'd lose sleep over it but it wouldn't be the best asset management.
  8. You're being a bit pedantic here. Obviously everyone would welcome a non-out in any situation, ideally a homerun but again, hitting is hard, anything better than a pop out or a strikeout is welcome. If a guy hit a flyball sufficiently deep to move a runner over that probably means they made pretty decent contact, that should be congratulated regardless of outcome, and it generally is.
  9. He'll play in the playoffs, it's all that matters.
  10. I mean, there's nothing wrong with congratulating a sac fly, it's better than not doing anything. If they're willingly going up to the plate to make an out then yeah that's stupid, but the game is hard enough where getting props for doing something to help the team should be encouraged.
  11. Is Min a PM kind of guy? If anyone has alternative ways to reach him then please let him know through those.
  12. I'll triple up and select Erik Swanson of the M's.
  13. Giles looked filthy in that inning. I hate the Spring Training broadcasts don't show velocity though.
  14. 15. I'm pretty sure the signing isn't official yet, same with the Bud Norris one (although he's a minor league deal). I believe it's possible to place players on the 60-day DL already so I'm thinking either David Phelps gets placed there right away or we remove one of Biagini/Travis/Jonathan Davis/Richard Ureña.
  16. I would imagine he's just expressing frustration about Travis' latest injury news.

  18. Nice, and the lineup isn't too vomit inducing! Vlad!
  19. You can't, I couldn't take Freddy Peralta last waiver draft due to this. Ended up having the pay the price later on to acquire him anyway.
  20. Please add your guys on Yahoo.
